I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and modern design of the room where I stayed. The gentleman at the front desk, David, was incredibly professional, but friendly. It was welcome to be checked in by him after a really long day. My only disappointment with the property is that the airport shuttle service starts at 5:00 am. I booked this stay thinking I could save some money on returning my rental the night before, and counted on the airport shuttle for the morning, which I needed at 4:00 am. It wasn't a big deal, but I was surprised at that. Perhaps the listing should mention what time the airport shuttle runs so advanced planning can be more accurate. Overall, a great location to the airport, and comfortable enough for the night before an early flight.

Close to ASU, rooms were quiet, great breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel shuttle was perfect to catch an ASU football game without dealing with traffic. Clean and spacious room.

We checked into our room and not 15 minutes into being in there we found bed bugs on the bed. We went down to the staff and he acted like it wasn’t a bed bug after showing a picture and that he couldn’t do anything about it but go check himself. Then we got ahold of hotels.com and they called the front seat and the manager said wasn’t very cooperative with them either.

Great stay, close to the airport and has a convenient shuttle. Rooms are nice, air conditioning is good and the beds are comfortable. Shower water pressure is high, toilets flush well and bathrooms have an exhaust fan. Something I rarely see at other hotels. Staff is wonderful and very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfest is top notch with lots of good options. Other facilities such as the pool are very clean and well tsken care of. Not too much nearby in food options but with a 3-mile free shuttle it works out fine. This also keeps the area quite and safer than higher traffic areas. My family and I will definitely keep this location in mind next time we are in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

Mostly a good experience. The morning breakfast bar was grossly understaffed. Many people waiting for food and utensils. Only one person working and she was running as fast as she could. She did her best but management needs to get more help in busy times.

Avoid This Hotel if You Need Flexibility with Late Check-In Our holiday plans took an unexpected turn, and unfortunately, our experience at Hyatt Place Tempe Phoenix Airport added to the stress. After a 2.5-hour flight delay, we arrived at the airport only to find that our rental car had been given away. We had to wait another 1.5 hours for a replacement. By the time we reached the hotel, it was 3 AM. To our frustration, there was no one at the front desk. Despite repeatedly calling the hotel’s operation number, we couldn’t reach anyone. Exhausted and out of options, we were forced to drive an additional 30 minutes to find a hotel with an available room. I later realized that midnight was the hotel’s check-in deadline—something I missed when booking. While I acknowledge this oversight on my part, the circumstances that night were beyond our control. I reached out to customer service, who contacted the hotel on my behalf to request a refund. Despite explaining the situation, the hotel refused to issue one. I understand that rules are rules, but so is this review. If you need a hotel with late check-in flexibility, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Convenient to airport. 10 min Uber to downtown, restaurants, bars, ASU etc.

Was excellent…bed was comfy pillows were firm, room was excellent, bathroom toilet n tub space was a little small for a big person but was okay, managed to manuver..would suggest making sure if u have a really hard time ask for handicap room the bathrooms tend to run bigger. Breakfast was excellent, it’s gonna become my stay when travel. Reception was awesome.. ever questioned surrounding area, was very safe.

I called the property in advance to let them know I would be arriving late at around 3am. When we arrived we waited a few minutes outside as the property needed card slide to open. The front desk clerk came out finally. Then she had trouble checking us in and my card for the deposit wouldn’t work. The clerk mentioned it was because she had closed out the day. And proceeded to advise me that next time I need to let them know in advance of late arrival; in order to avoid a check in delay. I let her know I did indeed call & she let me know that no one advised her. After about 30min we finally were given a key card. However, key card fails to work and we had to go back downstairs to look for the attendant & waited a few more minutes since she was not at the front desk. Finally she came up and had to let us in with a master key. By this time it’s approx 10min to 4am. My kids and I proceeded to shower and first thing I notice in the bathroom is a hair tie full of hair; assuming it’s the previous guest I shrug it off. By this time I am beyond tired and too tired to complain. Then I got to lay down and again I see a bunch of hair on the pillow; I flip it around & still one hair on the pillow. At this obvious they do not wash the sheets seems like the bed is just dusted off and made to look like it is washed. Long story short I put towels on the bed so I can avoid laying directly on the sheets. Next morning we go downstairs to eat then more issues when we needed access back 2 our room
