I loved the layout of the room...

I've never stayed at Homewood Suites before. I booked this hotel because it was very close to my sisters house. This hotel was such a disappointment to me and my husband. We weren't expecting anything fancy, but this was SERIOUSLY run down. There were huge stains in the hall going to our room. The vinyl plank flooring they used in the kitchen area was so buckled up that it was definitely a tripping hazard. My husband had open heart surgery just a month prior and I was scared to death he was gonna trip and fall getting something out of the fridge. The sheets were too small for the bed and kept popping off and I swear it looked like they'd used a mattress protector as a "blanket" and it didn't seem all that clean. Whatever they'd used to clean the floors, left them sticky so my shoes would make that awful sticking-to-the-floor noise whenever I walked across them. The bathroom had ONE BATH TOWEL for TWO GUESTS and there was no floor mat or towel to be used as a floor mat. My husband almost slipped and fell getting out of the shower onto the tile floor. If I hadn't already pre-paid $358 for our two night stay, we would have checked out and gone to another hotel. When we were checking out, I politely mentioned to the front desk about the floor coming up in the kitchen being a trip hazard. Her response let me know my room wasn't the only one. She said the hotel would be renovated soon but we were MAD that we had no idea of the condition when we booked. I will NEVER stay again.

Hotel definitely needs an upgrade water spots in the ceiling and carpet in elevator needs cleaning and needs changing the smell of the hotel is mildew and moldy beds needs replacing

The place was clean and comfortable but it was outdated. It was in a good safe area.

I liked how quite is was. The sheets or what they clean the sheets smell like smoke. The hotel is dated but is nice. Hotel staff really nice.
