Went to check in at 3:15 and was told NO rooms are available and haven’t been cleaned yet or entered in the system and to come back at 4. Swimming pool looked green and was very small. Grounds around pool were filthy. Took a shower and it did not drain. Backed up chunky brown stuff into the tub instead of draining. Asked for maintenance and was told he’s been off sick all week and usually leaves at 7. No double queen rooms left, offered a one king bed for 4 people. Took that, went to make sure the shower worked and the knob fell off in my hand. Moved to another room again and one person had to sleep on the floor in an air mattress that I bought. 2 days later, got a charge for “parking” on my credit card. We were never told there was a parking fee. No compensation for the room with a broken shower or having to move twice or getting a smaller room with 1 bed instead of 2. Not a good experience at all. Was offered a dirty room that the front desk persons kids were playing in so we could shower before just accepting the 1 king bed room.

Comfortable and spacious room. The freezer in the fridge did not work properly, though. Dislikes: At check-in I was informed that a $200 deposit was required, as I was paying through a third party (Expedia, I guess), but that it would be refunded to me at check out. When time for check-out came they then told me that a $5.12 parking recapture fee applied for each of the four nights of my stay but that I shouldn't worry, as it was being deducted from the deposit. That means I wouldn't be getting back the full $200 but only $179.52. I was not aware of this fee before hand, I don't think it is appropriate to charge it as they did.

No bath towels in the room

Always a pleasure staying at a Marriott. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. My only complaint is a group of people were talking very loud and carrying on until at least 1130pm. I figure it’d be taken care of since it sounded like it was coming from outside the front entrance.

Amazing and friendly front desk staff, she was very polite and quick checking me in. Rooms were clean and neat as usual. Very cold room when you walk in but in this phienix weather that just the welcome mat you need. I have stayed here a few times beforw and each time it is always a great experience. Would definitely recommend. AZ mills mall just across the street walkable if you dont mind walking. Convenient store just around the corner.

I liked the easy access from the freeway. It was clean and the breakfast was average. Good for an overnight stay.
