Staff friendly but terrible smell in underground parking and elevator and room dirty

Needs updating, beach and pool area

1000 km on a motorbike in the rain, arrival was such a relief. Secure parking was a bonus. The elevator was ridiculously small and slow is my only complaint. Front staff we harried and busy but excellent.

Great location. As with all hotels these days over the top pricing. No wonder tourism is down dramatically this year in BC interior.

Access

We booked a one bedroom suite which advertises a full kitchen in the picture. We were put in a suite without a kitchen and told that that is what we booked via Expedia even though we could prove that we didn’t. We came prepared with our groceries and now had no where to put them or cook them. Ron the manager was helpful and put us in a suite but still not the suite we had booked originally. We had to accept the suite as we needed a kitchen and we didn’t want to have to go through Expedia to get this resolved on a long weekend. This hotel is old and rundown. The cleanliness in the room was not up to our standards but we already had to fight for our room with a kitchen so we let it go. The bed was too firm for our liking. The best part of this hotel is it’s location but we’d rather spend the extra $$$ and stay at the Watermark.

The bathroom wasnt cleaned ,under groud garage doors were not working ,no lighting in the gym overall disapointed also snacks were outdated by 2 month. Not worth $350 for one night,i do not recomend this place .

Over all property very nice, our balcony overlooked the lake.

Good location, everything closed down a little early, the AC unit was through the window creating a lot of light in the room, the other unit was leaking all over the balcony. Other than that nice quiet with a decent view.
