Staff was very helpful but could not provide me with a room

The listing said they were pet friendly however they only allow dogs under 20 pounds. We got there and were denied a room.

It was a place to lay our head on a long journey. It worked just fine

Its wasn't anything special, but it was fine if your looking to have a decent sleep on a long trip. Also it was winter when we were driving through,

The Westridge description should be updated from ‘pet friendly’ to ‘pet with restriction’ or ‘pet restricted’ ‘pet with fees’. Although we were allowed to accommodate our mid-size dog because we are willing to pay extra fees $30/night, the description should’ve informed us that it only allowed tiny 10 pounder pet right from the booking process and not after booking confirmation.

Recently updated, room was clean and facilities were as shown and what I expected. A cute little motel looking at a mountain.

Location was great, room had been updated and was comfortable

Air conditioner was noisey and ended up turning it off. Grounds could use some TLC with weeds and shrubs not being maintained

I booked a pet frinedy room. I paid extra for my dog. We have stayed here many times before, but apparently they have sice changed their pet policy to state that only dogs under 20 lbs are able to stay. (My dog is only slightly larger then this.) This change was included in the fine print. As I have stayed before, without any issue, I didn't read the fine print. Staff was extramly rude. We were told we were unable to stay unless we paid another large fee. The room wound up costing over $240 for 1 nigt, which was supposed to be $158. For the record, my dog is a senior. Extreamly well trined. Does not bark and is, in no way, aggressive. She travels all ove the world with us, and we have never, ever had any complaints about her. There was no reaseon for these extra charges, except to exploit our situation and take advantage of us. As returning guests who have always been very respectful and easy going, we were extreamly dissapointed in how we were treated! As a hotel owner myself, I almost never give out bad reviews but I must say that this situation was handled VERY poorly by staff and we will not return. I highly reccomend trying to find somewhere else to stay in the area.
