The staff were excellent and very friendly and the room itself was spacious and clean. however the room had no heater, or at least it wasn’t obviously accessible (there was air conditioning in there though?). Not ideal in winter in Glasgow! Aside from that all very good.

We were at a gig in St Luke’s near the Barras so the Holiday Inn Express was a good location for that. Within 20 mins walking distance. Breakfast was perfect for us with an adequate selection and a warm buffet.

Easy parking near hotel. Nice to stroll along the riverside, close to shops and love the scotia pub next door, a proper slice of glasgow!

Booking in was quick and there was friendly staff
Our room was clean & beds was comfy
Options of pillows was also a nice touch
Choice of dinner / snacky options a bit limited
Breakfast was really good altho a couple of extra options would be good as only Cumberland type sausage available

The live music from the bar across the road went on until 00:15 for 2 of our 3 nights stay. It was very disturbing.

Right at the edge of the historic and shopping areas. A lot of graffiti but we never felt unsafe, and there are murals all around. Visited the Scotia bar next door and got some great local vibes. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Paid parking was close by.

Good enough place. Facilities very basic, shower not very strong and breakfast was extremely basic. Good base though and although bed was small it was comfy.

Good accommodation with car park with subsidised and reasonable parking charge just across the hotel. Great food made the stay more convenient, comfortable and enjoyable.
Will recommend and definitely visit again.

I highly recommend this hotel, me and a friend travelled up for a gig and the staff member we spoke to on the desk was lovely and gave us travel advice on how and where to get around which was very helpful. We stayed in a room with 2 single beds and they were really comfy and the pillows were great too so we had an amazing nights sleep :D there is also a car park over the road too which was handy.
