The stay was very pleasant. We arrived at night and left early the next morning. The breakfast was okay for what it was.
The main thing that stuck out was that the service was excellent! Staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

I have never stayed in a Microtel and didn't realize Micro in this case meant no amenities at all. Not a hanger in the room to hang your clothes. One hook on the wall. One square room with a door to an adjoining room. 2 Queen beds. Very basic.

We arrived to Gallup later than expected due to rough weather between Oklahoma and Gallup -
From tornado warnings to snow storms.
We were road weary and our 11wk old was a bit fussy upon arrival.
The staff at Microtel was kind and helpful! Our room was well kept, clean and comfortable. The cable wasn’t working well for a moment and the front desk clerk was kind enough to walk my fiance through how to rectify the issue.
The shower was warm and welcoming. The convenience of the conditioning shower gel bottle within the shower was great!
Once we settled into a few hours of slumber, we were all three appreciative of the warm welcome and ease of check in!
Microtel Gallup will be our choice stay next time we roadtrip Route 66/I40 to visit family across several states!

The customer service by the front desk was good.
What wasn't so good was the overwhelming smell of weed in the lobby as well as the hallway. Even our room smelled of weed! It's a little ironic that cigarette smoking is not allowed but the place reeks of marijuana. If you don't like the smell of weed, don't stay here!

It was exactly that a cheap hotel. Their complimentary breakfast was really nothing. No protein provided, waffle maker, terrible coffee, bread, cereal….. The “office” chair in the room had plastic bags wrapped around it, not sure why since it was a new chair. The walls are also super thin. Management was friendly and I can appreciate a small town not having staff to facilitate amenities.

The room was good too. We spend a lot of time on the road for pleasure and often the room are good but very often dark.. here it was bright and lots of good lighting, it brightens your mood just with that. Full marks for this hotel and staff. Thank you.

The check-in and check-out staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The fan/AC in the room was a little noisy, but not too much of a problem. For the cost, this was an excellent value.

Easy on and off Rte40. Super friendly staff. Care very much about your comfort. The building is older but the renovations they are doing and have done are super. All in all, a very comfortable and relaxing stay

Drew, the receptionist, was very nice, greeted me on entering and had all our information ready for us to check in. The room was nice and updated and very clean.

There was hair stuck to the wall in several places in the bathroom and the water in the bathroom was brownish yellow.

Rugs need to be changed out down hallways and improve breakfast items. That's all. Otherwise, love the prices and location. :)

I loved the energy in this hotel and immediately felt peaceful and serene. (I'm all about the vibe!) The man on the desk smiled at us when we arrived and was very pleasant and efficient. Our room was spotless and newly renovated. Just lovely. I felt safe in this hotel, which is conveniently located near the freeway and yet very quiet. I will be returning to this hotel.

The room was ok. No closet no hangers no coffee pot in the room. Bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was NOT GOOD. Waffles (which were sour ) toast cinnamon bun yogurt and two cereals (cheerios and corn flakes). That is it. No cold water no decaf coffee no automatic doors into hotel so had to fight heavy doors and luggage at same time. We would not stay there again
