The hotel staff is friendly but service policies aren't good and hotel condition is probably suffering from years of under investment. Hotel rooms are dates (its 2 stars at best). The hotel does not provide room cleaning everyday. No wonder we had cockroaches in the room. Even after complaining three successive times about cockroaches in the kitchenette and bathroom, cleaning was not provided everyday. To be fair they did come twice and bug spray. However, with two little kids in the room, it made for a terrible experience with bug spray around.
While closing the curtain, the hooks and the rod came off. It was all rusted & clearly very dated.
Location is convenient but heads up, room can get really noisy since its on the main street.

there was a fire in the hotel while we were there - hotel offered nothing as we were kicked out of our room for a few hours as we were trying to check out. this led us to miss one of our tours that afternoon and messed up our entire day, and hotel didn’t even apologize. terrible handling of the entire situation.

Had dishes, excellent toaster oven, silverware and cooking dishes - was wonderful!
Ask for blankets - none come with the room … just sheets.

Room was clean. We appreciated how quiet and private our room was. All staff were very friendly and always greeted us whenever we came in and out. A great stay for the value.
Some downsides: no microwave even when we asked to use one. The bed was too soft and I got a sore back. The room was really dark and it was hard to get enough lighting in the room just to see our belongings at night.

Hotel is walkable to all of the great restaurants, and it was an easy walk to the beach.

But due to the price of the room, resort fee and parking, we could have been directly on the beach for the same price. Would not stay here again.

I went for a few days to celebrate my birthday and was welcomed very well by all staff. They gave me great pointers on what I should do, where I should eat etc. the friendly service made it that much better to stay there, I will definitely book again thank you all!

Properly is dated. Location is fair, not beach front but it’s about a 10 minute walk to the sand.
The bed in the first room (1016) we were given had a wire sticking out of the mattress and since they didn’t have any other mattress we were moved to a new room.

The rooms were spacious - loved that there was a separate bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy. It is an older space, but the effort was definitely put in.
The front desk staff was cheery and helpful and the curb staff very cordial.
Only had one brief issue with the kitchen sink's waste disposal and someone came to tend to it immediately (thank you!).
Might have scored a little higher if the pool was a bit nicer and it was closer to the ocean (it is within walking, but it's a bit of a trek).

Great hotel at an affordable price for Waikiki area. Really liked the location as it is not in the middle of the Waikiki craziness but also not too far that you cannot walk. Also it is very close to a few 7-11 stores and ABC stores if you need to grab supplies, etc. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we initially booked a 3 night stay and liked our stay enough that we booked an additional 3 nights. Will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future. The Kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need which was quite nice if you decide to cook during your stay. Overall, I'll recommend staying at this hotel.

We loved our stay, staff was very kind and helpful. I just wish the room was more updated. The TVs were old and didn't have streaming options, and the clock in the room had an ipod charger! No one uses ipods anymore and a USB port would have been super helpful. We were in the room a bit because we have a 5month old baby, so perhaps the old tech wouldn't annoy most people. But for us, it was kind of a bummer.
I was surprised there wasn't a blow dryer in the room either. But I appreciated how fully stocked the kitchen was with dishware and appliances (microwave was really old though). It would be helpful if the kitchen included salt, pepper and chopsticks.

Stayed here got checked in early was really looking forward to my stay specially for the price that was payed.
Same night my AC wasn’t going past 68, my coffee maker and toaster wouldn’t turn on even after trying different plugs, my water in shower wouldn’t go warm, had called to let them know and they said they had fixed the AC while I was gone but nothing changed AC was off in my room and it was very uncomfortable as I am a diabetic I asked to talk to manager and she was not in. I had asked them to notify me when she was back and nothing. Very unpleased with the hotel specially for paying $244 a night service was not acceptable.

It was an veryy neat and tidy space, accommodating . just the area around was a bit dirty but not much they can do about that ha but just for views. Over all a nice comfortable stay 🙂
