It was great except the shower pole that holds up the shower curtain fell. I had to shower that night when I got back home. I needed a ground floor so I was upgraded to a two bedroom 3 bed suite. The receptionist was wonderful upon check in and super helpful. My suite was very clean. No bedbugs. (I am an experienced traveller and ALWAYS check when I arrive!) The air still smelled of a mild, unoffending cleaner.

Recreation Inn and Suites is an older building, the rooms were probably smoking rooms at one point so when we first walked in it was rather strong but was fine after a few minutes, though we did buy a diffuser from London Drugs to freshen it up a bit. The room was clean, the beds were bouncy but comfortable. The kitchenette had everything we needed but not really a place to sit and eat for two folks. The bathroom had a great shower head with plentiful hot water at wonderful pressure. The breakfast was good with cereal, bagels, yogurt, fruit, muffins, hard boiled eggs, juice and even gluten free muffins!! The person at breakfast was absolutely delightful and working hard to keep it clean, tidy and stocked. The place is dated but was fine for the price.

Very comfortable rooms with friendly & accommodating staff. Kris at check in was very cheery & fun. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety incl bagels & muffins. Nice grassy bbq picnic area just outside.

I arrived after dark and the street sign was not so visible (not the fault of the property) and Google Maps directions were not clear. I finally navigated back to proper location but the property sign was somewhat obscured by the large tree at the entrance. Check-in went smoothly and Kris, the desk clerk, was very helpful. I would recommend this property.

The hotel is great and the staff were really friendly. Juan and KS were easy to work with. The only.dissapointing thing is that the pool was closed. It was 32-34 during the days that we were there and it would have been great to get in the pool.

I have stayed many times at the Recreation Inn & Suites. All I require is a clean bed & a hot shower. It is very convenient to get to the nearby sports field. Unfortunately the two night cost of $522 is too exorbitant, for a stay at an average hotel. I do not think that I will be staying there again. Sorry, just not worth the price.

musty smell in the room. sofa has broken holes. the breakfast was too simple and make me diarrhea. hotel charged me $530 two nights for 2 queen bed with kitchen unit. usually price is $140/per night. this website and hotel are cheating me.

It is very good place in kelowna city comes with affordable accommodation

Kris provided us with a friendly and efficient check-in after a long and tiring day. The kitchen in the suite was an added bonus as well as the beautiful yard with a BBQ and family fun games! We will return the next time we’re in Kelowna.
