Great location, helpful staff, good free internet and breakfast. The Grand Suite was not on the street so it was very quiet. No elevator so be prepared to climb.

Our first room, although beautifully appointed, was on the corner of the hotel near a busy intersection. So it was very noisy, even during the night, impacting our sleep. The next day we contacted hotel mgmt and they were very accommodating. They allowed us to change our room to one further from the intersection. Much quieter and restful. The second room was another suite, also beautifully decorated. The Casona is conveniently located in the Centro of Puebla just a few blocks from the zocalo and the cathedral. Breakfast was included, although the morning service was a bit spotty.

Each morning it was a great pleasure to have breakfast in the lovely courtyard, featuring seasonal fruit, toast, egg dishes, juice and coffee. Most importantly, the hotel staff members were experts in customer service. Unfortunately, I had a personal emergency during my stay. The hotel manager and restaurant manager went out of their way to show tremendous kindness to me, which I will never forget. I am fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful hotel.

We visited Puebla for a family wedding and this was our first time at Casona de la Poblana. Previously we have stayed at other properties which also were very nice but this property really shines in comparison. The service was second to none. The food was exceptional and we couldn't have been happier with the location, close to everything but still peaceful and not swamped with people. On our next visit we will definitely come back. Thanks to all the staff.
