Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again because it’s very walkable to EVERYTHING! We walked to ALL of the restaurants where we dined. We felt very safe during our entire stay. LOVE this area!

Two key points: a) cleanliness is the very least I expect from any hotel I stay in, and Vivaldi has a lot to improve there. b) room keys (cards) stop working every day exactly at 11.00am, which is to say the least, annoying!

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here, the room was clean an comfortable and the breakfast was as expected. The receptionist that checked us in was very serviceminded and spoke really well english.

Unfortunatley this hotel has gone down in quality in the last few years. We have stayed here many times but this time we were very disappointed in the staff and room. We were put in a room where the bathroom lights were burnt out. We were told that the maintenance person had left for the day and our options were to move our things to a new room (and go down to the desk for the new keys) or wait for the repairman. We opted to move to a new room. I had asked that the staff confirm that the room was ready for occupancy. All was fine until the following morning when we were in a hurry and there were no bath towels. We called the front desk and were told that there were no housekeeping staff to bring us towels and to come down stairs to get them.

I booked the room with the city view. Unfortunately, we couldn't see anything because there were many building were blocking it. It's not even a convenience location. But the front desk is very friendly. Not the dining staff.

This hotel was comfortable, had a great breakfast, and most of the staff were wonderful. Our main complaint was that the climate control is the same for every room as they either run AC for the entire hotel or heat. You cannot control your own temperature, so even in winter we woke up hot on our first night. The front desk lady gave us an attitude and said to open a window, which wasn't an option because they street below was noisy all hours of the night. She also got onto us for taking our towels to the beach even though we brought them back clean. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here. Restaurants are within walking distance and parking was free along the street.

It is well located to go exploring the streets of montevideo looking for a turist stop, shopping or restaurants. The Hotel is super quiet, clean, organized, the room was very confortable with good working air conditioning to muffle the noises from the street below. All super clean and neat. Breakfast was really good, with good coffee and a large assortment of breads, croissants, fruit, granola, eggs, ham, cheese and baked goods made in the premises that were excellent. I did not find it expensive, at eighty some dollars a night for two with a good breakfast.
