Layer of dust on everything. Rude/unfriendly/unhelpful staff.
Very noisy from traffic and with the people in it as it’s so small - the communal area in in close proximity to all.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hostel was okay. We had our own room with a shared bathroom.
Checking in:
This was not an easy process as the directions were not clear. This hostel is split over multiple floors. After we figured out we needed to be on floor one we was able to enter the property.
There was no reception staff on at 3pm on a Sunday.
The room:
The room was good for the price, clean and simple. I found the mattress to be very thing and hard so if you struggle to sleep this isn't for you. We got a table with 2 chairs and a rail to hang clothes on.
Towels are not provided.
There was 2 bathrooms for 6 rooms, they were clean although the toilet seat was broken (cracked on the seat so it would pinch your legs when you got off)
There is a kitchenette within the hostel which had a kettle and microwave.
The con of the property was the windows are not very good if you are in room 6 you can hear the road a lot.
No Aircon or a fan - the rooms get warm quickly. I would hope in summer there is a option for a fan. (It states the rules on the wall in the rooms to ensure the Aircon is turned off when you leave)
Unfortunately we had a very noisy group within our stay which lead to me and other guests having to ask them to keep it down (2am).
Quiet hours are 10pm - 6am I hope future guests adhere to these rules for the respect of other guests.
Overall I would stay here again due to it being so cheap!

I had a single room with private bathroom and it was great. It was a loft type room with the bed stop some steep steps...fine for me, but some people might find it difficult to climb up or down and the loft had a low ceiling so most people will have to duck. It's a great location with great service for a good price. I would stay here again.

Overall we had a good stay here - the apartment was bigger than I'd imagined and had everything we needed (including a kettle, fridge etc.). It was a good value for the price, was refreshingly calm (not at all a party hostel, of which there seem to be many in Budapest), and had more space than expected. This said, a few things were less than ideal: the bed pillows were very small and thin, the two doors you had to lock from within (and unlock with the key to get out) were very difficult to deal with, and a few days before our stay we received an email saying the reception would close at 4 pm and if we arrived later they would have to send us self check-in information - we ended up taking an earlier train and arriving before 4, which was good since I think the self check-in would have been very confusing. So be careful to check what the reception hours are before planning your arrival. But other than that we had no problems.

We got direction by staff and walked for 14 mins to another location. It was a big apartment away Main Street. The original booking is cheaper from this one. If you require to pay Euro you need to follow hotel’s rate. Furniture were ok. no need to check out.

The experience was bad starting in the fact that there was a late check-in fee and nobody told us in advance. The room was not properly cleaned as it had hairs and dust on the bed, it smelled. The room was hot and we asked the AC remote at the reception and it was provided to us without mentioning any additional cost. In the description of the room, it said that there was a ceiling fan which was not the case, so we had to ask for it. In the next morning, someone knocked on our door asking if we had the AC remote because it had an extra cost. We said that we would sort it out at the reception since the person was not even identified and saying that the rules were clearly stated on the walls which was not the case either. We had to agree on paying an additional charge because the house was very hot.

In terms of negatives, the place was slightly difficult to find and once found there were many flights of stairs which made it difficult. While the facilities were modern and the rooms were comfortable it was a particularly hot time of year and the air conditioning wasnt very effective which made sleeping a bit difficult. Otherwise it was certainly good value for money for the room.

The hostel is located very close to public transport, supermarkets and restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed in the room on the first floor which had no reception and only a very small kitchen area, this made it really hard to meet people. Also, they do not offer free luggage storage, so if you need to leave your bags before checkin or after checkout be prepared to pay for it. The room was a bit on the smaller side which is something I expect from staying in the city centre. The shower and toilets were very good and clean all the time.

This is a great hostel for those who want to stay central but not with all the big partiers. It was clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. The only complaint is that there was no fan at all in the room. The windows can open to the street but it can be very noisy.

This hostel is great! The staffs are very friendly and they showed everything you need in the hostel. Also, they will show you where to visit in Budapest.
I really feel like home here. Everything are nice and amazing. The bedroom, bathroom and toilet are clean and new.

The reception is in one building and we were located to another building, maybe that was annoying after been traveling around and you must be prepare (in case you will be moved to another building) to climb up 2 floors (no lift). After that, the main room looks (And it is) clean and organized. The bedroom was either nice with all the commodities and nice bed. The bathrooms are clean and, depends on the guests, are always clean. I will definitely recommend and, for sure, I will be at the hotel next time I am in Budapest

The cleanest hostel I have seen. Incredibly homely and unbelievable prices for the services offered. Modern and spotless facilities, very fast wifi internet in all rooms, and incredibly helpful staff (special thanks to Betty for all the vegan tips!). Will definitely stay again next time I visit Budapest and would recommend for anyone.

This hostel is centrally located to everything you would want to see in Budapest. I was able to walk to the castle and Parliament, and also the other way to Heroes square and Széchenyi Baths. There is also a tram that runs nearby. There are many restaurants around as well as grocery stores. The girl working the front desk was so helpful and cheerful. Thank you!
