Didn’t have good directions or pictures of the main office, lost when we first got there. Luckily we didn’t need elevator but didn’t seem to be an option in our house/hotel. Shower was terrible, large bathtub, hand held sat at edge of tub so had to hold while showering. Wish at check in he would have explained how things worked in Iceland like heat and windows for ac.

We had a very ice stay in an apartment with a small kitchen. We liked the setup of having a breakfast included and got this delivered to the room. The room was very nice, clean ans we liked the style of the decoration.

Great little place in downtown Reykjavik! Walkable to many places downtown. A few renovations (painting) happening while we were staying there, but the painters did not come early or stay late (were not bothersome). Would recommend!

Extremely spacious and comprehensive, even had washer dryer with powdered detergent. We used the app check-in because the reception is not in the same building but eventually got cards as the phone to unlock as the phone is a little slow (also in case of dead battery). Only not-ideal thing was our top apartment was on the third floor with a narrow, steep and almost circular staircase, no elevator - needed to hold the larger suitcases at chest height to make the turns. Having the kitchen and some basics included (milk, cornflakes) was very convenient for our departure. I would stay again but on a lower floor.

We loved the room, beautiful, spacious, great place to stay for a multiple days, or a week. It was somewhat difficult to find and only on street parking available.

We had an incredible time staying here. The location couldn’t be more perfect to explore the city and enjoy nightlife! The breakfast basket really came in handy for our early morning tours.

Contactless check in was a little confusing at first but we figured it out. The room was great and well-equipped. The shower was amazing and equipped with L'Occitane products. However the the sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable and back breaking, would not have been able sleep on it for longer than 1 night.

The property was nice but we got the room in the basement, means no view !!!! Also, their FLEXIPASS didn’t work.

Reykjavík Residence Hotel while a bit pricey was worth it! Close to just about everything you want to see in Reykjavík within walking distance. Was also great after long day trips to come back and have space to just decompress and relax. Staff was available and great when needed, very responsive. I’d certainly stay here again. The one thing you want is a place you feel comfortable with.

I forgot to ask about the vip food and drink credit . The residence we stayed at was actually in a different building than the one we checked in at . I booked a studio and we actually stayed in a one bedroom upgrade . The place was lovely , safe and comfortable. We had a great balcony . The kitchen was great and there was great choices of coffee and hot cocoa. We were tired from traveling so it was great to shower , sit in our robes and drink coffee. The next street up was tons of food and shopping . The residence is centrally located to sightseeing .

Payment, check-in, and building/room key are automated using an app you have to download to your smartphone. There is no parking, no on-site staff, and no one to help with luggage. Despite the listing of an elevator as an amenity, there was no elevator in our building. Other features included poor sound insulation between rooms and a bathtub/shower a man of ordinary height can’t stand up in and a short person has difficulty getting into and out of. Our room did have a very compact kitchenette wall with small appliances, and L’Occitaine bath items. The extra cost breakfast included excellent fresh bread delivered to the door and a variety of other items placed in the refrigerator the previous day. Fruit was an apple. The description should more accurately convey the nature of this property and the limited staffing and assistance available. Great property - loved the breakfast options and the service was excellent. The only thing that stopped me from saying it was excellent was the sofa bed - it was past its best and even two children sleeping in it was a squash
