Breakfast was very delicious (mixed traditional Japanese and Western). Onsen/Sento was very clean. Felt like relaxing at home.

Conveniently located close to the Kyoto station. I enjoyed the hot spring spa after a long day of sightseeing. Beds are a little hard by Western standards, but everything else was great. So many thoughtful (and free) touches- noodles at night, popsicles and ice cream bars in the spa area. Every thing was clean and well maintained.

Free onsen, free ramen, free ice cream, free yogurt drink, the only thing missing is free breakfast! I enjoyed my stay and will book Dormy Inn again in my next trip.

Location is perfect, just 5 minutes from Central JR exit of Kyoto. It would be suitable for those who need to commute with JR without a hassle. Also staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The hotel is located steps away from Kyoto Station, so convenient! Having their in-house onsen was also quite a treat, especially for people who may not have the time to go to standalone ones elsewhere. They also offer free snacks throughout the day.
The front desk staff are also quite friendly and helpful. I decided to extend my stay for 1 more night and was initially assigned to a bigger room that's pricier. Eventually, they informed me that I could stay in my original room and pay less. I appreciate that they looked after my budget and convenience.
I would definitely stay here or their other properties again on my future visits to Japan.

The room is extremely small. I dont know how to open my luggage. I only had 2 luggage. No space to stand up in bedroom. Room hotel is not supposed to be like this. Hotel Not properly provide enough room. Only knows how to cut and make money without care about how people survive in small tiny toom
