Beautiful characteristic building. Cleaning could be better. We brought an muskito plug so we could sleep with the windows open but the room was hotter inside then outside. We parked at st. Pietersplein for €9.50 / 24/h very good parking.

We booked this hotel for three nights. At 2am the first night, I booked a second hotel for the next two nights. We could not stay there another minute. The rooms are simple, which is fine. No air conditioning (it's an old building, and at other times of the year, and prior to the climate crisis it may not be necessary, but it was HOT when we were there). They supply a very small fan which is not enough at all to circulate the air in the large room. We needed to keep the windows open to breathe at all - and this let in all the mosquitoes. We were covered in bites by midnight. There were blood stains on the walls from guests before us, obviously fro killing mosquitoes. My head was right next to these pictures (see below). And this was SOMEONE ELSE'S BLOOD!. I showed them in the morning when I was checking out early, their response was "yes, all the walls look this way due to the mosquito problem". They admitted housekeeping should do a better job of wiping down the walls. My teenagers went out for a walk at 1am because they couldn't sleep, it was so hot and uncomfortable. When I was checking out early the next morning, they told me I could have asked for plug-in mosquito repellant devices, but of course, no one told me this at check-in. They also gave us a can of Raid. Couldn't get any money back for the 2 nights we didn't stay because it was pre-paid through Expedia. If they would put a small window air-conditioning unit in each room, it would fix the problems.

The only good thing is location.The beds were uncomfortable, the room is not clean,water from the shower leaks into the entire bathroom.

Beautiful studio apartments with plenty of room. For stays under a week they dont offer automatic cleaning of the rooms. You can pay an extra €15 for a cleaning each time you want one. Wish they would supply more toiletries and taking out the trash during the stay or at least a bigger garbage can.

Was very nice. Lockers were great. Vending machines with Belgian beer were terrific. Not being able to get into lobby during lunch without key card was challenging

It was a very beautiful building and it is historic and the studio was clean and had everything. I would go back again there for sure.

Just wow! I almost don't even know where to start. This place is fabulous from top to bottom. The location cannot be beat. I think this used to be a seminary so revamping the property into a hotel was absolutely a brilliant plan! The security measures in place are phenomenal. Walking in, all 3 of us literally said "wow." the decor is amazing in every way and we would love to purchase whatever they use to clean or to scent the air! After this, we were really excited to see our rooms but we were super early, so we utilized their luggage storage (another wow factor). When we finally returned from sight seeing and checked in to our room, we were blown away. The pictures do not do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous room with great amenities. The shower even had fantastic pressure (after 3 weeks in Europe, you definitely notice this). We had a lovely view of the courtyard and we really loved that our windows actually opened! Giving this place a 10 out of 10 is completely insufficient. It's intended for extended stays and has a small kitchen, but literally everything you need is there (refrigerator, microwave, stove, sink, dishes, etc). We only stayed 3 days so we didn't use anything but the refrigerator, but if I went again, I would use this. The only suggestion I could even think to make is to maybe consider adding some washers & dryers in the area by the lockers. I also hope you expand your footprint - we need more like you!

I think I walked passed an iffy street in order to get some food/dinner. I had to hold tight my bag and walk fast.

Everything about this property was excellent! I gave 4 stars in cleaning because some dishes were not really clean y we found a water bottle next to the bed. We loved the kitchen.

Excellently located, well equipped studio in Central Ghent. The only thing worth criticizing is the quality of pillows. Still, I guess this is a matter of taste.
