BEWARE, hidden charges. Hotel manager tried to charge me extra for "local environmental fee" and when I disputed it stating I paid on hotels.com he said it was a separate charge. Extortion is what it is, when I agreed to pay it because I was tried and hot, attempted to use credit card and he said it would be DOUBLE the fee. Scam, should be removed from site. I would never stay here. Did I mention the scruffy dog that came out in the lobby to bark at us? What a joke of an operation. Stay far away!

A quiet, well maintained hotel. They are doing a great job with conservation on the tiny island. The internet worked well and the staff was very pleasant and attentive.

When the Isleno was first built it was wonderful. State of the art electrical system, modern style. All good. Now it needs a major cleaning. Things have become dingy. The towels should have been moved to the cleaning rag department a long time ago. The place could be sparkling and beautiful. It is not.

We had tonget the front deskntpnsweep the floors as it was covered with hair. The mattress covers made sleeping awful all they did was make you sweat. Woke up several times soaked. Very disgusting

Great hotel....location perfect..near places to eat ,beach ,market...and just at the end of the busy area ..quiet at night....front desk and house keeping where great..room very big ..great TV..bathroom..very clean..i would stay here again..great hotel!!!!

I like the hotel it had a lot of amenities such as a tv and fridge I just couldn't sleep at night sometimes because there was a bar across the street and because of the noise also the room I had was mid hotel so you can hear the reception at all hours talking. I did enjoy the room though as its close to everything and centrally located.

This spot is great because it’s close to playa Norte and it serves as a gateway to Hidalgo St. Where all the nightlife is.

The room was nice and comfortable. On a quiet street in a good location to the malecon and close to el centro.

Location location location. This hotel was in the heart of shopping, restaurants and a short walk to the beach and the ferry. The manager was very kind and helpful and spoke English. The room was clean and the plumbing was AOK.

This place is conveniently located to everything on the north end. We stayed 10 nights and was a little disappointed with cleaning service. They came 2x to our room and the first time was day 3 and didn’t do anything except sweep the floor and take out the trash bags but did not replace the bags, change towels, clean the bathroom or even change the sheets. Said they had no hand towels and would only give us 1 towel each to use for everything. Did offer to give us a new towels the next day. Only one key card is given per room. Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful as best they could.

This hotel is the best bang for your buck that I've found in a long time and that gave me the option to book us two rooms. It's right in the middle of the action, so it can be a tad noisy at night, but it's very close to everything. The hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and simple. It's not as plush as 5 star, but again, it's really nice for the price point. We would stay again.

Manuel and the rest of the staff were exemplary. The hotel is centrally located, yet far enough off of the street with the bars and restaurants that it is quiet. We loved our stay and will definitely stay there again!

I have only good things to say about this place! They upgraded us to a superior room, with @ view of the ocean. They have chairs and towels for free borrowing for the beach. Other noticeable perks: Always friendly staff, free coffee in the mornings, helpful personel, maps, wifi, and SO clean all over! I’d go again!

This place is very centrally located, with everything from dive shops to hairdressers within a few blocks. Ferry 5 min away. Clean hotel with friendly staff - and fairly good wifi in the rooms. Some of the rooms have balconies. Well worth a stay.
