They didn't give me a room in spite of having confirmed booking with my family.
Resaon was given to me that I belong to mangalore. People who are 100 to 150 km radius were not allowed to take the room in Hotel ginger. Worst experience for me.
I told them it's for the family not a bachelor.

Condition of the property was not as expected from a chain hotel, even if it is a budget chain.
There was a peculiar smell from the AC unit, which was also very noisy (Voltas, brand owner same as owner of the hotel!)
However, the staff was very polite, helpful and hospitable

The reception staff were awesome. The dining staff and the housekeeping staff seemed a little apprehensive- I believe it could be due to language problem. They should be more confident and forthcoming! The security staff were very hospitable! Overall it was a good stay!

Ginger is owned by Tatas. I had high hopes when I reserved my room. Unfortunately the place is rather
run down. There is only 1 small elevator and the rooms have seen better days.
I wish the management would do a renovation.

Looked more apt for official trip for single person stay, not for families. Location was decent as it's away from city streets and close to beaches. Ideal if you have your own vehicle to roam around. never ever stay in Ginger Mangalore... spoke to another guest also he also have the same opinion... the bed sheets are so dirty.. whats the use of paying these rent and stay in such hotels... never again
