Perfect location and amount of space for our group of seven. Nicely appointed lounging areas and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent many content hours sitting by and in the pool and grilling on the deck. We took in some lovely sunsets at nearby beaches and had a great day on the water with the sea turtles. Mike was a gracious and extremely attentive property manager who ensured that we had a successful visit.

Nice stay but villa needs a few things updated! Things that you notice. Especially in the cottage which needs decorating Mike manager very good he dealt with problems promptly.The cleaner a nice young lady but came on our last morning and we weren’t leaving to 12 so our last morning wasn’t what we expected. As I say needs updating but had a nice stay.

We had an excellent time here. The property was perfect for 10 of us with small children and teenagers. There was enough space for everyone the outdoor space is huge. Inflatables and toys provided and high chair and cot for our infant. The manager was helpful and resolved things quickly. The cleaner Rochelle was brilliant. She did a great job keeping the villa clean and tidy for us and was very attentive. Location was great. A little further than 5 minutes from the beach was about 10 minutes but that was fine. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back in the future. Thanks for having us.

Polomar is a lovely spacious property well capable of accommodating our party of 7 adults and an infant 18mth. Situated just 5 mins from Mullins beach (our fav) and on a bus route and easy reach to Holetown and Speights town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the only downside as it was the rainy season the access road to the property is in poor repair and flooded. Also, when wet, the tiles round the pool became very slippery and a hazard for little ones.

Lucy and Mikey (House keeper) were fantastic at making sure we had a great trip. The fridge was stoked, we had a chef two nights and Mikey helped with anything we needed. The Villa is very comfortable, with a nice living room area, and plenty of outside space. The pool area is very basic but we spent most of our time out and at the beaches. Great spot!

We have just returned from a 14 night stay in this great Villa. 12 adults and a child stayed meaning we had full use of both the main villa and the cottage. The pool was a great size for relaxing and cooling off, the walk to the beach took about 5 minutes, and there were plenty of watersports, sun loungers and bars close by. Mick the manager of the Villa was super helpful, and very quick to respond to us, and the housekeeping team were thorough and came in 3 times per week. We also paid additionally to have a chef cook us some Bajan cuisine it was amazing! We travelled for my daughter's wedding and we used the outside area to have a beautiful Bajan wedding feast afterwards (cooked by Joel the Chef). The pictures are a good representation of the Villa. If you are up and about around 7 am you will see the monkeys playing in the trees. Overall our stay was great, and i would highly recommend considering this property.

We stayed here as a group of three adult couples. We all loved it! The outside space overlooking the ocean, with direct access from the terrace into the beach couldn’t have been better. Lucy and the house manager were a great source of info before we arrived and the house manager arranged car and restaurant bookings for us too. The bus stop is straight outside so we just took a taxi to and from the airport and either took the bus or walked to other places. Frankly the deck area and pool were so good we tended to eat out but get back to our villa ASAP!! Inside there is a master suite with an incredible view and the other two doubles are nice enough but no views. Kitchen and equipment good enough. Lounge is small for 6 people but with good weather we ate outside and stayed outside til we went to bed too.

The house was perfect for our extended family group. The house provided great social spaces and is in a lovely location close to beautiful beaches and a good variety of bars and restaurants. We did have some bad weather for the first couple of days and we’re so glad we were staying in this lovely spacious house with great covered outside areas. We were greeted and looked after by the house Manager Mike who was really helpful in arranging transport and shopping etc. we would definitely return as a great time was had by all.

Very nice property, pool and the grill were used often. Great setup for large gathering at the table outside the glass doors, we had dinner for 10 adults' and played cards. We had a chef, Lucca prepare diner for us two nights, he was outstanding!! We would stay at this location again.

Beautiful Villa, the rooms were great, decent size pool, brilliant check in and service from property manager. So much outdoor space too. Location was good, less than 10 mins walk to the beach and visited by monkeys daily! I would definitely recommend- it would be perfect for large groups with the pool house.

The property host was most helpful along with the property manager and cleaners - all very welcoming and the villa was equipped with everything we needed and more! Had such a lovely time and we didn't want to come home ! Hope to come back again one day. The area around Mullins Bay is amazing with great beaches bars and restaurants - ideal for adults and children - thank you Lucy xx

A few maintenance issues, air con to one bedroom packed in, water tank stopped working to pool house towards the end of holiday. As soon as we reported there was someone sent to try & repair the issues. Absolutely the perfect property for families or group of friends. The owner was extremely helpful on all information required for Covid & a lovely lady who was so so helpful. Thankyou for a great holiday, great accommodation & great memories

This house and cottage with a total of 6 bedrooms was a perfect place for our recent stay with 10 friends and would also work well with 2 families because of the separate cottage. It is located at the end of a quiet cul-de -sac. The outside eating and lounging area had plenty of space for us to gather and yet when needed provided ample room to find a quiet space. Mornings were lovely to sit and listen to the many birds. Some of us remained on the property lounging in the chairs (sun or under the big canopy) and air conditioned bedrooms, while others ventured to the nearby beaches. Mullins beach is about a 10 minute walk (uphill coming back!) where you can find many water activities, chairs to rent and buy food and drinks. We enjoyed the quieter Gibbs beach, ample shade under the trees especially in the morning., beautiful entry into the water and some good snorkeling. Buses on the main road are frequent, there are more private buses than city buses, cost is the same 3.50 Bbd. Holetown, where the bigger Massy grocery store is located, is about 15 min away by bus. Much more of a tourist town with many stores, The Surfside Bar has steel pan every Sunday night!. Jordans, the other grocery store, is in Speightstown and is a fairly easy 2km walk. There is a shuttle available from both stores if you want to take it back home with your groceries,(if you are lucky enough to be there when it arrives!) It was great to have a pool, not huge, but big enough to swim a bit and cool off, many lounge chairs and towels available. The stove was a bit of a challenge, but we eventually figured it out. The kitchen is a small work space, but manageable. and reasonably stocked. We didn't use the stove in the cottage Natasha, the property manager was most helpful, friendly and always available by phone or in person. Wonderful find

Located about 800 meters walking distance to two great beaches. Property has a small pool which we used a lot. We came with 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Excellent fun was had by all. The home is spacious and reasonably well equipped. Very clean.

The house is excellent, exactly what we needed. Natasha was brilliant at supporting us during our stay. Big bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, the pool house is gorgeous, everything you need to have a fabulous holiday. We’ll be back!

Great property. Plenty of accommodations and privacy. The highlight for us was the indoor/outdoor living space. It was spacious, airy and bug free. There always seemed to be a breeze and the pool was just steps away. The owner and the house manager were great. Natasha met us on our arrival and made us feel at home. She even cooked a meal for our group later in the week and it was fantastic! We would highly recommend this property.

It was great for us with young children. Because the furnishings and decor were a little tired, we did not need to be too precious with the children ! However, if it were my property, I would definitely spend some money updating the kitchen, plates, glasses etc as this definitely lets the property down. Overall I think it was great value and we would definitely recommend for young family or larger groups

The villla is ideally located at the end of a quiet cul de sac and is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Green Monkeys visited us most days. Natasha was waiting to greet us on arrival and we were immediately impressed by the open plan living accommodation. Large Double glass doors open up to the pool and seating area giving a lovely sense of space. The pool area has been redone and the tiles are a big improvement and give a contemporary feel to the pool area. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the pool too, another review called it a splash pool but it certainly was more than that in our opinion. The rooms are all a decent size, especially the master suite which is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are a good standard but we did have water pressure problems and the showers were just trickles most days! The layout really suited or family group as the teenagers were in the 2 bed cottage just across the pool area and so had some space of their own. The kitchen is the only reason I haven’t given Polomar gardens a 5 star review. Our family like to cook and the kitchen is very small and the appliances are old and dated. There’s a lack of workspace and over ar the cottage, only 2 hobs work and there was very little crockery etc. Thankfully there was a very good bbq. We used this the majority of nights we ate in. Natasha was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our house keeper, Sante, came twice a week and did a great job. Would definitely recommend this villa and stay there again if the kitchen area could be improved. If you don’t cook much then don’t hesitate - I’m certain you will enjoy your stay. The biggest bonus being walking distance to Mullins beach and the stunning Gibes Beach. Adrian at Mullins is a very nice guy and would recommend asking for him for all your water sports needs. Thanks for an amazing holiday in my favourite place.

The property was very nice and spacious with great features including a pool, large balcony and lush greenery surrounding. The location is within walking distance to the beach and very near to restaurants and shopping. The house manager Natasha was friendly and accommodating. My husband and I along with our friends thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house.

We were a party of two families, so five adults and five children. The property worked for us as we had the two separate buildings, so each family got some time to themselves and it was good to keep the children separate at bedtime so there wasn't any running up and down the landing ! The main house is smaller than you think it will be, but works as dining is outside and is a pleasant experience. The two houses were decorated adequately, with some lovely touches. The kitchen area was a squash if more than one person was trying to cook something, but only a minor issue. The cooking utensils need replacing and the fridge has a rusted side, which detract from the pleasing effect overall. But that said, the television and reasonably sized outdoor area kept the children occupied. The pool gets dirty quickly due to leaves from nearby trees as the wind was strong at all times. The pool suits small children, but is really an large splash pool, not actually suitable for adults to swim in, more splash about in. I liked the front porch away from the sun. We thought that the bin area at the entrance to the property needs tidying, and the meter cupboard door is rusted and swinging about. These small things spoil a first impression. Overall though we loved the property for its good fit for us as two related families and its location. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes, but we did hear that the beach bar at Mullins was closing Feb 18, so there may be something swanky there soon. Buses very frequent, and Speightstown just five minutes in car or bus. Hugo's has opened on the waterside in Speightstown and although expensive, we thought it worth the extra dollars. The setting is lovely, but our favourite as always is the Fishpot, also up that way. The supermarket is now extended and just a 15 minute ride on the bus. Plus if you get a lot of shopping they will deliver, so thats worth knowing. Also the garage a 12 minute walk away has a 24/7 food shop, small but adequate for bread and milk etc., which helps. Don't leave fruit out in the kitchen, it will be pecked over very soon by incoming cheeky birds. Natasha came to clean during the week, and did a great job, she is very helpful and a really nice person. She organised the pool man to come and he did so instantly, it seemed !

We rented Lucy’s property for a 2-week wedding / honeymoon / family holiday. 10 of us in total, we had all the room and space we needed. The houses are just up the hill, not more than a 10 minute walk from the lovely Mullins beach. We would recommend the jetski posse on the beach and especially Sean who runs trips from there on his glass-bottomed boat; a local who ensures everyone has a great time! The houses have lovely furniture and are well equipped, opening out beautifully towards each other across the pool and patio area.. Extended evenings around the large dining table outside on the patio will long remain in the memory.. The housekeeper Natasha came twice a week by agreement and tended to our needs. Tranquil and yet so close to the beach and only a 10-minute drive from Speightstown. Our wholehearted thanks to Lucy; we would dearly love to return..

Plenty of room, lots of privacy apart from the odd troop of monkeys!! Hope to return.

We loved our stay here; we were a extended family staying here and it exactly met our needs. It is 5 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins to local shops. The property has a large car park which was good as i had a number of family visitors. It is very private and has great outdoor space for socialising, which isn't overlooked by the neighbours. Great place

This was the first time i have stayed at this location. I have previously stayed a couple doors down on the same street. This property is in excellent condition, all the bedrooms, bathrooms and furniture is in good shape. The pool and deck area are awesome and we spent tons of time out there with plenty of space for 6 adults and 6 teenagers. The deck and pool area are very secluded and you have tons of privacy. The kitchen is fairly well stocked with equipment, however if you are like me and like to cook, i would suggest bringing your own knives, nothing is worse than having to use dull knives. There is plenty of parking, more than enough for our three car rentals. I will definitely stay hear again when i find myself on the island.

The villa was immaculate, well furnished and catered to all our needs, Most of the bedrooms had en-suites, all finished to a high standard. Ideal outside area included a large bbq and refreshing pool. perfectly situated for Mullins beach and surrounding towns. There is a super cute neighbour's dog called Boomer who we all loved. The pool was cleaned twice in the week that we were there, the pool guy did a great job and was not invasive. The lovely housekeeper made some authentic Barbadian food for us and was always on hand if needed.This villa was just perfect for our family holiday, we truly did not want to leave! Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic house! It is very spacious with everything that you need. The pool and deck area were great for relaxing after being at the beach. The beach is a short walk away as is Mullins Beach Bar. Natasha was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure that our stay was perfect. Would recommend this house 100%

Beautiful location in a fantastic house. Peaceful and surrouded by greenery. Yet the beach is only minutes away at the fantastic Mullens. All the great restaurants are at hand but we would suggest one night you ask the housemaid,Natasha to prepare you a bajan meal. We cannot wait to go back the only hard part is leaving. Solveog

What a great place this is, absolutely no complaints at all, only when it was time to leave :( The house is spacious, more than enough room in the main house for our party of 6, it's immaculately clean, well equipped and furnished and the outside areas are just gorgeous. Add to this the location, just 10 minutes stroll to one of the best beaches on the island and undoubtedly THE best beach bar (Mullins Beach Bar) on the West Coast, and you have a perfect combination! Glenis the House Manager was there to greet us and visited us a couple of times during our stay and was always very helpful. Natasha came 3 times during our 10 day stay and aswell as taking care of all the cleaning, she also cooked some typical Bajan food for us....delicious!! We all had a great time, thanks Lucy and Giles, we will most definitely be back :)

We were a party of eleven (6 adults and 5 children) and we stayed for ten nights. We all found this villa to be very comfortable and spacious. It has recently been renovated and is in very good condition. It is a short walk (4 minutes) to the fabulous Mullins Bay and associated beach bar! Speightstown is approximately 20 minutes walk or a short bus or taxi ride. There are other nice beaches nearby. Glenis the property manager was very helpful and at our request did some food shopping and prepared a delicious meal ready for our arrival. The property was very clean and well cared for. We also liked the fact that we had a late check out on the last day as were on an evening flight. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was beautiful - really nicely appointed, very private with a lovely pool (which the kids especially loved!). Location of the villa was fantastic - just a few mins walk to Mullins beach and less then 5 mins to several other stunning beaches, none of which were ever busy. Tons of great places to eat nearby - everything from fine dining to cheap local restaurants where we were the only tourists. Mary and John were really helpful - we arrived late at night and Mary had gone to the house to turn on the lights and Air Conditioning in the bedrooms as well as dropping off some food for breakfast. She then met us in Holetown so that we could follow her to the villa. Great recommendations for things to do and local beaches worth visiting. Sandra (lovely cleaner!) came three times during the week and kept the house beautifully. Would thoroughly recommend - we're looking forward to going back! Roger and Lucy

We have just returned from a holiday and I have to say it’s been absolutely amazing. We were 4 adults and one 4-year old kid and everybody loved this place. This house was an excellent choice to stay at! The house was clean, spacious, stylishly decorated, had fully stocked kitchen, a washer and a dryer – we had the full comfort of home. The owner Lucy generously offered watersports pool and beach toys for my son and he enjoyed so much playing in the pool that we had difficulties to persuade him to go to the beach. Housekeeper Mary and Sandra the maid were incredibly helpful when planning our trip and gave us plenty of thorough advices. What amazed us most was the astonishing feeling of peace and calm the garden had attached to it. Except the bird sounds you could barely hear anything else and this was a perfect place to find a calm after the stress at work. A beach is just 5-6 minutes stroll down the road and the house is just a few min drive to some really nice beaches. It’s hard to explain how much we really enjoyed our stay here and we would heartily recommend this place to everybody. We will certainly be coming back soon! And Lucy, thank you so much for the wedding present, we really appreciate it!
