The location was good.

My experience at the place was awful, I know is an airport hotel and I can’t ask a five star hotel treatment, but at the least I will want some respect. I’m from Colombia and I have been living in the United States for 4 years and my English is very good, because thanks God I had the possibilities (economical and cognitive) to learn. When I arrive to the hotel I asked to one of the guys of the main desk until what hour was the restaurant open, because of his accent I couldn’t understand what he said and he repeated himself 3 times for me to get it. The bad part here is that he asked me afterwards how long I have been living in the USA and I told him that 4 years, for them he asked me that if I have been here all time why I didn’t know English?. That was a completely rude and uncalled question to make, this is an international hotel, turista from many parts of the world go there for to wait for their flights and many of them don’t know the language, and I don’t know what he meant with that, but so people who don’t know English are less? This was very judgmental and discriminatory comment, and he is the face of the hotel, that says a lot about the company. On the other side the rooms are no so clean, they smell weird the minute you go inside you can feel it.

very convenient to the airport

The headboard on the bed was half off, we put it back together just because it was bothering us. none of the plug ins worked by the beds. Also one of the lights wasn't working. there was what looked like blood on the curtains and it wasn't very clean. We went because we are familiar with Marriot and normally satisfied, however this was by far my worst experience with any Marriott. It's unfortunate this is one of the closest hotels and i really didn't have an option considering my flight schedule.

I got double charged once again....

A convenient location to Charlotte attractions and right across the road from the airport. Friendly, helpful staff, clean and updated rooms.
