The breakfast was nice, so were the host and Front desk receptionist. When we arrived it was after midnight, we booked a full bed with the pull out sofa bed. We were checked into an incorrect room and was told it happen by a mistake through 3rd party, front desk did put us in the correct room but then there wasn’t any linen for the pull out bed. We had to request for the linen.

Good thing we brought our own soap bc the soap supplied was a empty pump that hadn’t been refilled. The next morning we realized that the blankets were filthy after opening the curtains and raising both blankets for each bed towards the window. Looks as if it was molded/infested inside of the blankets. The most disgusting thing ever. Both my son and boyfriend are itching, coughing, and congested as well. The sneezing begin as soon as we switched over to room 1432.

The hotel rooms were ok. Great location to the airport, the hostess people were nice and very helpful. Brought up towels and pillows when asked.

The pool and hot tub had leaves, bugs, and some black rubber stuff floating in it. The public bathrooms smelled like they only got cleaned once a day maybe if that. The price for food I thought was high, but it is a hotel.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Connecting rooms were a plus since traveling with kids. Tasty food at the hotel restaurant.

Unfortunately it took an hour and 3phone calls for the shuttle to finally pick us up. Other hotel shuttles passed us 2-3times while waiting.

Lock on door was not working properly and no ice bucket provided in the room.

I liked most of it, but there was no one in the entrance to help guests with their luggage, many people was carrying just their carry on but I arrived with 3 cases of luggage by myself and couldn’t even move them, I had to ask for someone to do it for me and it was actually someone working in front desk was nobody working exclusively in the entrance with the guests, same thing in the morning when I needed to get them from my room to the lobby floor.

Location is good, evening staff were helpful.

We arrived to a pungent smell of sewer in the foyer. At check in, the ladies during the afternoon were not at all pleasant. No one said hello, how can we help, nothing. No smiles, it was really off putting. We got up to our floor and the sewer smell was still really strong, thankfully our room did not smell. An hour later we went to the front desk to ask about the shuttle, I just mentioned to the manager that it smelled very strong of something unpleasant and asked if this was normal. She didn’t apologize or try to reassure, just said we have tried to call the engineer and we just found out about this 5 minutes ago. I said we had smelled it right away an hour ago, she argued with us which was so unhelpful . No result on the awful smell. The “renovations” were basically just paint over everything you can, wallpaper the rest and don’t fix anything. There are stains, water damage and just really unsightly finishings/ old hotel problems all throughout the room, especially the bathroom. I can not believe this is a Marriott. Oh, they sell bottled water (none in room) with bottle cap lids, but don’t supply the opener in room. So I asked later on to the friendly evening employee and he said they have an opener at the front desk, but the lady at reception who charge this water to our room didn’t have the customer service skills to let us know this. We booked this hotel for the on-site restaurant and pool area, but both were closed with no warning. The restaurant was open later in the evening, but we had booked it to have lunch. Might sound petty, but you can get a better rated hotel for almost half the price around the DFW airport if you aren’t looking to have a restaurant inside. No worries, we found lovely areas within $10 Uber rides and I won’t use Marriott again if this is the standard nowadays.
