Easy registration
Old and needs updating. Hole in shower tile. Carpet is disgusting no matter how new it is or how much you clean it or vacuum it.

Didn't find anything that I consider breakfast.a. Breakfast bar and coffee is not a meal.

It was just off the highway and it was quiet
Booking.com posted they had an American breakfast. The breakfast is no longer available and consisted of a granola bar. They also advertised that they were pet friendly but did not mention a fee. When we checked in the fee was $25.00

Had no idea when breakfast was at or what time it started and ended upon checkin and nothing in the room said anything about breakfast times either...no channel guide provided on TV or on paper in the room ...was told by staff that there was no deposit required upon checkin unless you were paying cash I qualified this twice with this staff member on checkin and again with the night staff member both said the same thing...I asked the checkin staff member if the 90.64 would be the only charge on my card and was told yes absolutely...later that night I looked at my account and $91.64 was taken and then 5 minutes later according to the transaction history 116.64 was taken Total of 208.28 for one night stay ...upon checking in I told the staff member I had a dog and if there was a charge she said yes 25 dollers I went to get some cash out to pay it and she said we can just charge the card used for checkin for the charge of pet fee I said ok that sounds fine and then again asked what charges would be on the card and staff member replied 90.64 pluss the 25.00 pet fee i said are you sure of this wqs told yes ....so the nighy of the 8th when I noticed the extra charge I went down to the desk and again confirmed that there wws no deposit unless paying cash and showed the clerk the charg3w to my account on my phine and she contacted manager the manager said thar the 91.64 would be back on card in 24 hours she thought wile there at the desk I did the math and the 116.64 is exactly 25 dollers more than the room so said to.clerk what did they other staff member do recharge the card with the pet deposit attached to it and not cancel the other transaction ..the night staff member told me in response to this question after talking to the manager for the third time that since the checkin clerk when I checked in did the transactions in a.short amount of time withing 5 minutes that the money 91.64 would be refunded to me i said what u mean in 5 pluss days clerk said no the manager said
Continuation of the what did you like response ran out of space.:manager said shoukd be within 24 hours and to check back the next day..I said ok we will see and went to my room:next day the 9th of April I went doen to thr desk at around 1130 am and the same clerk that checked me in was working I asked her immediately if she had charged me twice or what happend and she said all it showed on her end was the one charge for 91.64 I showed the the 2 charges on my account and she called her manager who had already been presented the day before with this problem and said that money of 91.64 woukd be refunded within 24 hrs becuz like the night clerk told me after she said she spoke to manager thar since the charges were so close in time together within 5 minutes that the one charge without the pet fee of 25.00 would be refunded within this timeframe :this is relevant and shows either someone is lying or no one knows what is happening and is just saying things to placate me along or all three the 2 clercks and the manager are all telling me something differant or the manager saying three differant things to each clerk individually but something is FUCKED...and here is how I know this for a fact let Me lay it all out here:1st start with the amounts of money .:1 charge 91.64 5min after 116.64 total of 208.64...116.64 -91.64 is 25.00 so the 116.64 charge is obviously a charge for the room and the pet fee 100.percent has to be this to much coincidence that the number is exactly room price and pet deposit 116.64..when I spoke with the clerk this morning she told me that her manager said that the 116.64 charge was a charge to check if there was money on the card an inquiry is what she called it not a deposit ..I said hold on you told me there was no deposit she said well.im sorry I guess I was wrong I said well that is not a deposit u said it wasn't a deposit but that ur manager said it was a.charge to prove there was money on the card witch is not a deposit at all she

Let's see, BUGS in the room, Puke in the elevator that had not been cleaned adequately (it was old and dried up),
wash basin drained slow (for all intents was plugged), every outlet had something plugged into it, (I had to unplug something to plug in my BiPap machine and my laptop).
This facility was old dirty and needed renovation.

The guy who worked Night shift was very helpful. My TV wouldn't work and he couldn't get it working either so he gave me a different room.
There was no breakfast. Just nutrigrain bars and something that was supposed to be coffee but was jt warm brown water.

the room was not very clean, looked as if the bedding was not changed. or anything had been cleaned very well. little hairs everywhere in the bathroom.

#1 is cleanliness, and it was clean. The room was fine! Breakfast was a basket of apples and breakfast bars, but that was fine!
I wish that the pub had its own entrance, too many people going in and out...but it was quiet still from our room anyway, on 3rd flooor

There basically was no breakfast (just coffee), but everything else was what I expected and more from a Howard Johnson. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean!
The breakfast that was stated in the booking could have been provided. The only thing on the counter around 7:30am was coffee. Even if it was just a continental breakfast, that would've had some substance...

The mattress was disgusting under the sheets. The window was wide open and wouldn't shut. The pool wasn't available and that was the main reason we picked that hotel.

We chose the Howard Johnson because it was pet friendly and more affordable than the hotels in downtown Helena. It was easy to get to from the freeway. Staff did allow us to check in about 30 minutes early.
The bathroom fan, one lamp and the coffee maker in the room did not work. We were up early to hit the road and elected not to use the shower. The lounge was pretty sketchy. The staff that checked us in could have been more pleasant while interacting with me, but I had to call for service at the front desk, so I'm sure I pulled her away from something else.
