Emplacement de l'hôtel est top et centré, proche d'une station de métro. De plus, vous êtes proche de tout et tout est accessible à pied. J'ai eu la chance d'avoir un upgrade pour pouvoir accès à la chambre plus rapidement car je suis arrivée le matin avec en prime une magnifique vue sur l'Empire State Building. La chambre est super & spacieuse, le lit était confortable. Salle de bain spacieuse et excellente douche.

Les portes d'ascenseur grinces et font passablement de bruit qui m'ont réveillé à plusieurs reprises la nuit. Peut-être que vous pouvez mettre de l'huile pour que ça ne grince plus ;-)

Das Personal am Empfang war leider unzuverlässig, unfreundlich und unfähig. Uns wurden bei Abreise Extra-Kosten fürs Frühstück berechnet, die man uns - auch Wochen später - nicht belegen konnte, da angeblich ein Systemfehler vorlag. Trotzdem wurden uns (trotz fehlender Belege) fast 150USD zusätzlich berechnet. Uns wurden Rückmeldungen zugesagt, aber nie eingehalten. Wiederholt haben wir über Booking nachgefragt, wurden aber im Stixh gelassen. Auch bei Booking konnte man uns bis heute nicht helfen. Sehr traurig. Schwache Leistung.

Room was neat and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free Coffee/tea bar. Gym seemed nice. Location is central in manhattan.

Room service was not very good - they didn't replace towels or take used glasses/room service. The TV was classic cable, TV guide didn't work and only a few channels.

Zentrale Lage, nahe am Empire State Building. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Norden oder Süden von Manhattan. Verschiedene U-Bahn Linien sind in 5 Min. zu erreichen. Dachterasse im Sommer mit schönem Blick auf das Empire State Building. Die Betten sind bequem, Kissen ebenfalls. Jeden Tag gab es Wasserflaschen.

Die Zimmergrösse ist recht klein. Bei mehreren Gepäckstücken wird es schon schwierig… Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Good location overall for convenience, even if the street itself is filthy and dingy.

Having specifically asked for a room to be ready between 3-4 pm, and as is the stated check in time, I arrived after long journey to be told I could have the room I booked at 6 pm (the hotel had allowed the previous guests in the room a late check out at 6), or downgrade to a different room for a discount of $50. I didn't want to downgrade since I had booked the room I wanted, but had no choice. Absolutely shocking that Hyatt don't honour your booking. Front desk staff apologised but didn't do anything to solve the problem other than offering me a downgrade. Hotel room was a decent size but looked out to an office block and had very little outside light. The hotel in general, and rooms in particular, are tired and shabby, brown musty and smelly carpets that's probably been there a few decades. You have a choice of a very loud air conditioning system in the room (60dBA measured at 6 am), or leave the window open with the street noises and frequent honking and sirens which is normal in NYC. Even if you turn your air con off the next doors will probably keep you awake anyway (48-50dbA at 6 am in my room with my air con turned off). On the second day the room hadn't been cleaned until 4 pm and required three calls to the front desk to get someone to come and clean it. Watch out for the taxes and extras - these are significant. The hotel charges a $20 daily destination fee that's an absolute rip off - apparently the amenities they offer for this is acces to the terrace bar (which wasn't open during the entire stay), tea and coffee in the lounge, 10% discount at macys and other useless offers. At over $450 a night, this hotel is a rip off even by NYC standards.
