Large room (suite). Beds are fine.

Pool small if you really like to swim. A big one in Sulphur, but had to figure out myself. The floor of the room was a bit old. Noisy air-conditioning.

Staff were friendly and professional. Check in and out were a breeze. My room request was honored. Room was clean and comfortable.

Restaurant had a limited menu. Could not get connected to the WiFi.

The smell of the building… the breakfast… house keeping.. this is my first time staying at this hotel I have stay at many Holiday Inn express and have always loved everything about it and always had an awesome view review. The room smelled like wet paint, the air conditioning wasn’t in the best condition, the paint in the tub was  detaching throughout each use, the water from the bathroom area soaked the carpet. This is the first holiday inn express that I have been to didn’t offer free buffet style breakfast. To call front desk you have to dial the hotel completed telephone phone praying that they would answer luckily after placing two calls I was able to speak with someone. Housekeeper didn’t clean the room nor did she put clean towels in the bathroom. Think twice before staying here .. if you’re in that area I highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn express located at 402 N Martin Luther King Hwy, Lake Charles, LA 70601… this is a Awesome hotel

The hotel is old!!! They carpet needs to be removed and replaced with flooring instead. The carpet has Olds and spots everywhere.

The bathroom was not clean

Location and staff were exceptional.

The decor could use an update!

Staff was very friendly and guided me to a few great choices for dinner.

Room where very clean. Space was just right.

Bathroom tub had a little mode around the tub. Low on towels toilet tissue was low and face tissue where completely empty.
