I don't think we were told there was a breakfast included. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked being able to leave our bags with the staff so we could go explore more before heading to the airport. The campus and area around it are very beautiful!

The TVs weren't working well. Any channel we put it on would take a long time to load and then every 30 seconds would cut out before going back to the show. Ultimately, not a huge deal given how little time we were spending. Wifi was sometimes spotty or not working.

Bed is great.

It was clean, well equipped and in a great location, being a 3 minute walk to the university bus terminal with a selection of bus routes available. There are shops, cafes, restaurants etc within a 10 minute walk.

Nothing.

Very comfortable bed with crisp sheets. Clean room. Great location. Quiet.

The apartment is perfect, it is huge, it has a nice bedroom with a comfortable bed, a living room and a kitchen. Everything is clean and UBC staff is friendly -I guess they are students working on summer-. They leave coffee and tea, which is nice.

The only problem is that it is really far from downtown. It is one hour by bus and there is no metro. By taxi it is about 35 minutes and 30 CAN dlls.

Comfort, amenities, cleanliness, umbrella provided (and needed), proximity to bus exchange, proximity to great coffee shop and restaurants, ease of check out

No vanity/shaving mirror, a little more space to eat would have been nice, a suitcase/bag stand (although not sure where this would have fit).

Everything was top notch from check in to parking to the room to housekeeping. It was a great last minute choice. I thought I was downgrading from a downtown option but I feel like I actually upgraded but for half the price!

My television said “no signal” and I stated that via the text “concierge” but didn’t get a response. It wasn’t a big enough deal for me to call the front desk. I just used my iPad and phone when I was in the room. The wifi was free.

The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and fulfilled our needs perfectly. It was incredibly convenient while visiting our kids who are university students. While we did not require the kitchen facilities, we were impressed with what was available in the our room along with fully stocked cabinets; This may come in handy another time. Will absolutely be back!

Terrific, friendly and accommodating staff. The place was clean and met our needs.

Nothing.

Almost everything. The room was very clean, like brand new. The staff and the decoration inside the room and in the hallway were hotel level. The kitchen were equipped with very modern appliances. It exceeded what I would expect from university accomodation. Since it's in a university campus, it's very quiet at night, and with other students/visitors and utilities in the campus, you don't feel like you are staying at a hotel, but a community. And since UBC is just beside the coast, the environment is very good. The building is just beside the UBC Exchange bus station which has very frequent departures, so it's very convenient taking the bus.

I got disconnected from the WiFi from time to time. And it takes ~1hr to get to the city centre. But considering the price and great surroundings, it's an acceptable trade-off. (But remember many restaurants are closed during the winter break.) Plus, departure from the UBC Exchange bus station just beside the building is very frequent. You can leave whenever you want. Many bus routes connect to SkyTrain. (Just don't take route 14. It smells awful.)
