The rooms are huge. we had one of the suits but even the regular rooms are very large. they are styled in a sleek scandi way too which we loved.

the only complaint i really had was the parking situation

front office was very gentle and we were surprised with a kind gesture of empathy by our 20th anniversary. Katie was awesome and made a difference also arranging an early check in for us. would go back again many times!!

The signature room was really beautiful, with a great view of parliament. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft sheets and the rain shower was a gorgeous touch. The staff at this hotel are extremely polite and helpful, they did a great job at making you feel comfortable and welcomed. Also the rooms are very soundproof and a great choice of tv channels. The hotel is situated in a great location just a short walk to the Rideau Centre and Byward Market.

The parking is hit or miss since the spaces indoors are really limited so on a busy weekend i feel you might not get a spot. The only thing negative i have to say about this hotel is that the breakfast was totally not worth the price. Most of the food was really cold and lacked any taste and the coffee was of really poor quality.

Beautiful room, lots of space, a comfy bed and an impressive view of Ottawa. Valet Parking was seamless. Front staff were helpful. Special requests were handled well. The restaurant served delicious cocktails, wine and food. Restaurant servers were especially thoughtful and made great suggestions. We will definitely return to Le Germain in the future.

A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. the room was well decorated with a very comfortable easy chair with footstool by the windows, plenty of outlets and good lighting. very comfortable bed with cozy woolen rug next to it and good shower. Initially seemed a bit strange having shower (etched glass walls) essentially in the middle of the room but was fine and the bathroom area was spacious and the underfloor heating is wonderful. Molton Brown products are always a plus! The minibar was well stocked and good to have kettle as well as Nespresso machine (and real milk). staff very prompt in replying to requests and providing extra coffee capsules and tea. Norca restaurant was excellent, we had a wonderful dinner our first night with lovely servers, delicious cocktails, wine (good selection) and food (elk chaussons were melt-in-the mouth yummy) …. but not cheap!

location is good to walk to Byward Market, Rideau Centre and Ottawa Art Gallery is just next door (very interesting exhibitions) but the area is generally a little sketchy. would be nice to have more cups for tea/coffee. having one of each size a bit irritating and the Nespresso machine only produces espresso and about 110ml size so need more than one capsule for a full cup (using same capsule twice worked!). Pity there is no on-site spa. they recommended one nearby but had limited availability and closed at 5.

have both proper tea making facilities in room, such a kettle and fresh milk. this is always missing in so many others. nothing more annoying than arriving and not have those basics. it is spacious and stylish. bed is comfortable.

lacks a pool, other than that, it has everything I would want for a business stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Noon checkout time was also helpful.

Nice room, well-furnished and with good amenities, centrally located. I really liked the easy chair by the window for reading. Interesting (in a good way) shower.

My main negative point is that the price was very high for what was offered. Two more minor points: there was really loud music quite late into the first night, coming from a wedding party at the hotel. Also, housekeeping came in a bit after 5 PM, without knocking, as I was undressing. What on Earth did they need to do in my room at that hour?

The room is very nice and the location of the property is a quick walk to many important parts of Ottawa. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff were very kind and offered good sightseeing advice for folks visiting from out of town. Shout out to Dalton for being super helpful and welcoming!

A self-park option would be nice.

The hotel was super comfortable and well located. Staff were great.

The breakfast was fine but could have more choice and variety - it was the same each morning. The coffee was excellent though! Clearer instructions on where and how to park - I ended up in the wrong parking garage and it was a bit stressful.

the scent in lobby is pleasant; the security from staff in lobby plus cards for elevator

the soaps/shampoos are too floral and overwhelming scent for those with sensitivities overly hot mattress pad - rubber? water closet walls gross with splatter - replace wall paper? missing reservation - disconnect between Booking.com and Le Germain possibly.
