Cold, salt water in rooms, roof leaked in three places, rooms really dusty and unloved, beach access but beach was knee deep in plastic waste.

I have stayed in most of the coastal resorts in la libertad, Punta Roca is by far the best. They have great food and attentive staff. You can check the waves while having breakfast. And are steps away from some great surf spots including right out front.

Waking up to the sound of the ocean, stepping out of your room seeing the waves breaking. Could not ask for more. Breakfast was really tasty, same for the food from the restaurant. Roberto was one of the best hosts we had on our trip. Always there for some information. Surfboard rental was 10 $ a day and they have a broad variety of boards, so everyone will find its quiver.

Rooms are a little old-fashioned, but that wasnt a problem at all. But dont expect fancy rooms. Nevertheless, AC was there and functioning perfectly.

We had a really great time at the Resort. The host were so friendly, helpful and let us feel like a second home. The resort is located directly at the beach, you can rent surfbords and surf lessons. To get to El Tunco, El Zonte or La Libertad you need a uber (easy and cheap).
