само местоположението му... идеален център, макар и труднооткриваемо място. Имаше добра комуникация по телефосна, та все пак лесно го намерих.

Мръсотия - по един пръст в края между первазите и стената. Захабени, стари, грозни мебели. Претрупана, безвкусна атмосфера... И миризми от кухнята из целия, които отблъскват още като влезеш. Още като влязох се отвратих и казах, че няма да остана... Ако собственичката не беше приела парите, нямаше да го има и този отзив. Просто си платих, за да съм коректна, оставих багажа в гардеробчето и след 3 часа си го взех като си бях поръчала такси до родния град... Мисията спане там беше невъзможна, поне не за фини и чувствителни хора... Чудя се какво му харесват другите на този хостел.... Да, била съм и друг път в хостел. В Хостел Мостел в Търново - прекрасно място, нищо общо с това тук...

Vintage villa near old town in Veliko! Nice people and nice decorations! Big room in a hostel, for a night was a good choice!

Lucy is super nice. The hostel has a very welcoming homey vibe and charm to it, like your visiting a friend. Location is in center of town, lockers, free washing!, a/c, kitchen. Showers OK, can better but over all a very nice hostel stay.

Right in the centre of town, spacious comfortable room with ac and cool decor in a traditional house. Lovely and kind host too!

There are no curtains on the bed, so there's not a tonne of privacy

We were supposed to stay in room in hostel, but because of overbooking we got place in other facility nearby. It was amazing place! We shared a house with another couple. The place was incredible - we have a view of the valley and balcony. The staff were really nice and helpful, there were no problem with leaving our baggage after check out. Love this place!

When i travel to Turnovo I always stay in Rooster. Great atmosphere. Definitely reccomend at least one night at this magical property which is located at the heart of the old town of Turnovo

I find it hard to reconcile my experience with the previous reviews. Rather than being a good place for solo travellers, it was me and two families, one of whom had two dogs - one very large, roaming around the common area which affected access to the front door, kitchen and stairs to my room. I had been attacked by a dog 5 weeks previously and when I showed my bandaged leg to the owner, they didn't seem to understand how having a large dog in a shared space would be upsetting. I know my experience is atypical, but it perhaps reflects the extent to which this hostel is a welcome place for all. When I arrived at 7.30 pm the bathrooms and kitchen hadn't been cleaned and there were piles of linens in the hallway waiting to be washed. When I asked the host for recommendations of places to walk, she said I should look online.

It’s very noisy and it was hard to sleep at night: on one side the noisy street (cars), on the other the other residents of the hostel not respecting the “quiet after 10pm” rule and children screaming in the bedroom next to ours The bathrooms and kitchen were not very clean

everything: especially the atmosphere and the decorations itself. the staff is really helpful. Located in the old town center but is quiet

maybe a little bit far from bus station on foot. Also the alley the hostel located is a slope, might not be so friendly for travelers with large luggage

This hostel had the best of both worlds, cause it's a good place to meet other travellers but also has private rooms. The decoration gave it a nice vibe and it was very clean. The girl at the reception gave me some recommendations about what to see and where to eat in Veliko Tarnovo.

The showers at the first floor were quite small, I just used the ones at the top floor.

The receptionist lady was very nice and helpful. The room was big enough for 4 people and the location is really top. Clean sheets on the beds, towels smelling nice. The interior is quite interesting, vintage style with lots of paintings everywhere, I liked that very much, makes you feel like you've traveled back in time.

Turns out that our room was right next to the common space with only a semitransparent glass door separating it from the "living room" where the guests are gathering for a chat. Well, we barely slept the first night, as there were 2 exceptionally talkative british guys in that common space, who wouldn't stop talking all night. I asked them politely to keep it quiet and they probably tried, but we could still hear the conversation. No privacy whatsoever. Perhaps the second floor is much better, had I known that, I would've never booked that room on the 1st floor. I think the property should consider changing the doors with something more solid, that would isolate noise and light. Other than that I would stay there again, but not on the 1st floor for sure.

Sometimes noisy next to the living area at night, needs curtains on the doors to stop light coming in when sleeping.
