There are some bad reviews of this hotel but when we checked in with my family it was the opposite. The manager and staff are very accommodating and nice to meet our needs! They are keen to answer our questions regarding our stay concerns and provided us with our requests! The hotel is in Old Dubai so expect that you will see the culture and authenticity of the people living here! So many stores, shops, restaurants, gold souk, convenience stores nearby and as well near at the Al Ghurair Mall! We love our room and everything was clean and maintained! The Bathroom is nice as well! As Tourists here in Dubai we definitely had a good 2 nights and 3 days experience especially if you want to experience the Old Dubai! I would definitely love to come and visit again soon! We had luggages but if you’re a backpacker traveler you would also want to consider this Phoenix Hotel! Super love it! My auntie wanted to have coffee but they are only offering tea which is Okay. Overall the Hotel is very good and a good place to stay when you tour Dubai!

Rooms are dirty once handed over. The previous time, I found some preservatives. This time, I was given a room where there is no telephone that works, no towels, and tv doesn't work. When I communicated with the operators, I was shifted to a room where dirty bedsheets had some sorts of yellowish stains, lights doesn't switch off as all switches damaged or wrongly wired, I had to remove the bulbs to sleep. I called the operators again, and they failed to address it . They wanted to hold the authorities' documents until checkout, and they lied about it when confronted with the customer service from booking. In short, this shouldn't be even categorized as a hotel. Believe me, it is better to rent a car and sleep there alternatively. The operators know nothing about hospitality properties operations, no checklists, no quality standards, and no operating procedures. This hotel should be shut down or receive a huge fine from the concerned authorities, I'll make sure to raise a complaint to them as well. The hotel is super old, not renovated. I would have shared photos and videos, but it's on my other phone.
