Love everything about The Melbourne. We use it regularly. Great friendly staff, rooms are spotless and great food options.

Beautiful property with excellent rooms. We were there on 2 occasions and liked the old section best but both were great! We ate in all four onsite restaurants and all were great. The dining room was outstanding and a beautiful room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I left something in the room and they sent it on no problem.
We would love better in room coffee but have found this was usual in Australia.

Close to everything
No exhaust fan in the bathroom, stated on the wall that if u didn’t keep bathroom door closed while showering and alarm went off, you would be fined!

Aircon wouldn’t work due to buildings heating override. Very weird.

This stay our room was on a different side of hotel and noisy
also bathroom shower water went everywhere in bathroom very uncomfortable and dangerous and pillows were horrible
bed was like a trampoline every time my husband moved

Location excellent, room was adequate but comfortable.
housekeeping was touch and go, first 3 days was excellent, staff shift change resulted in us asking for sheets to be changed , to give us shampoo, and shower cap for my wife, room to be vacuumed. little irritating things when you return from a long day out. Kitchen to be open for longer, struggling to get anything past 8pm.

Myself and my partner were incredibly grateful that the rooms were soundproof because otherwise your other guests would not have slept a wink.
When we were still basically in bed at 10am and got a call asking when we planned to check out 🤣

Bathroom layout. Water flowed from shower into bathroom no matter how I tried for it not to.

great location for restaurants and RAC arena. also I always judge a room on the quality of the shower and it was a great shower with good stream of hot water. cleanliness and security of hotel was good too

The hotel was excellently located for our needs and there are plenty of shops and good food outlets that side of town. Parking is easy and roomy even for a 4x4 which was great. Rooms are a good size and a different layout which we found very convenient, breakfast is very good from the cafe, we will stay again.
Beds weren't overly comfortable but satisfactory, they had sunken in a bit and the pillows a bit big and hard if you sleep with 2 pillows. Food was awfully slow coming out of the Restaurant for a Friday night, granted an event was on but waiting over an hour for something simple wasn't good.
