The cottage was cute and very clean, I liked the privacy of not being connected to someone else like you are in a hotel/ motel and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The bed was terrible, it was still covered in the plastic it came in which made it very hot for sleeping and every time you moved it made noise. My husband and I didn't sleep well at all and woke up in pain. Definitely not how you want to feel on weekend getaway. It would have been nice to also have a chair or two in there to sit on, it was just a bed. That's it. I hate to say it but we will never stay there again.

The location and staff were great. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was very organized and a lot of options.

The bed was very firm, it took a while for the shower to warm up but when warm was great.

A table light stand on one side of the bed would have been good; the bedroom was quite compact, so I guess this would be difficult to fit in.

We really enjoyed our brief stay at River Road Cottages. The cottage was clean and quaint. It met our expectations. We were in Cabin 6 which had some stairs to get to the door. We were not sure if my mom could do the stairs, but she did fine with her cane. Nora called within 15 minutes of our check in to see if all was well. (they had offered to change our cabin if necessary). We wished we had time to use the pool as it looked very relaxing! We were in and out for a wedding so our stay was less than 20 hours. We would stay again!

Excellent location. Quiet and very quaint accommodations. The continental breakfast was a nice to wake up to.

The free Wi-Fi was very spotty, it didn’t work half of the time.

Location is easy to access and situated between to York and Wells. Cape Neddick Beach is a gem for a quiet escape.

The room was very pretty. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. The location was close to all the things we wanted to do. The coffee maker in the room was a nice touch.

Quiet place, next to route 1. The pool was well maintained. The staff were nice.

The space is much smaller than we thought and the design of the cabins has room for improvement. You can't open the bathroom door while using the kitchen. There's only room for 1 nightstand instead of 2. In summary, the idea of a tiny house cabin is great however is not well executed. Also we did not bring any pets but I don't think there was enough space for pets.

The cottage in which we stayed was very clean and private. Had all the amenities we needed. Staff were very helpful and courteous. We would recommend this location to others.

The bedding could have been upgraded.
