This was fine if all you want is a place to sleep, but it won't give any more than that. The location is central in Chennai as well, and filtered water is available in the lobby. The staff were friendly enough.

The place is very dingy. The sheets were stained and had cigarette burns in them. The windows in the bathrooms might give other people a peek at you while you shower. The fans are old and super loud. The alleyway the place is located in is filthy and full of people all the time, most of them men.
