Séjour top belle maison

We were a group of 8 friends wanting to go away from the city for a few days. Óbidos couldn’t have been a better choice ! The house was even better than the pictures! Paul was a great host and explained everything very clearly. Cannot even explain in words how wonderful the whole experience was !

Casa para descanso, fora de grandes confusões, muito tranquilo.

In general the house has everything and is in accordance with the described and the advertised amenities. The location in a rural area and very quiet, surrounded by apple and pear orchards. The pool is an asset with heated water where you can have fun during the day or even late at night. The house is in need of some adjustments in some parts, mainly in the basement room and games area, humidity. It is a 10-minute drive from Castelo de Óbidos and the shopping area if you need to shop.

Alojamento impecável e de acordo com o descrito. A piscina aquecida foi uma mais valia para a nossa semana de férias. Local tranquilo e no entanto próximo de tudo. Espero regressar brevemente.

The property is large and spacious it has an excellent barbecue / outdoor seating area the pool is heated and plenty of sun beds we enjoyed our stay

Villa as per photos loads of space, Its a forty minute walk to local town Obidos all down hill. The games room and heated pool was perfect for teenage boys. My only complaint was the damp smell and feel in downstairs bedroom.

Comfortable, well-equipped house, near to the ocean and lovely town Obidos. The only thing that bothered was high humidity.

We enjoyed a terrific holiday on the Silver Coast where Obidos is a wonderful walled medieval town with lots of charming character, excellent choice of restaurants and plenty of shops to buy holiday gifts. Casa Sara is a marvel! The villa is very well appointed, with all modern conveniences that you require and a private swimming pool. The short drive from Obidos is well worth it, with the villa enjoying a westerly aspect and mountain views. It is in spotless condition and there is the added bonus of a well equipted games room. You can sun bathe while the kids play! This villa is well deserving of its 5 star rating!

We stayed in this beautiful villa for 10 days in July 2015. We were a group of 5 adults and one child. I found the booking process really easy and quick. We were met in Obidos on the day we arrived and directed to the Villa where we were given the grand tour and everything was explained. The villa was just beautiful. It is large, very spacious and has excellent cooking and dining facilities. Inside there is a large, modern open plan kitchen, dining room, sitting room. This leads out to a large balcony which overlooks a beautiful garden to the front and a swimming pool and sun bathing area. Back inside there are three bedroom on this level. One is ensuite. All bedrooms were very comfortable and there was ample storage and wardrobe space. There is also a large bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs is another large bedroom with another large wardrobe with sliding doors and a bathroom. Also on this level was a large games room, with a snooker table, table tennis, fuzeball and dart board. The grounds outside are fabulous. There is beautiful views of the country side. The swimming pool is great as it has a children's pool also. There is plenty of sunlongers and outdoor table and chairs. There is also an outdoor oven should you wish to make your own pizza and a BBQ. We didn't use the BBQ but there was a separate seating area at the back of the house that you could use. We generally dined in Obidos most evenings (about 10 minutes drive). The restaurants were amazing and the medieval town is really quaint and the locals are really friendly. There was a really handy folder with recommended restaurants and lists of things to do in the area. The Villa was sparkling when we got there and the pool was cleaned twice while we stayed. The grounds are really well maintained and there is even an orchard at the front of the garden where you could pick some fruit. I would really recommend this Villa if you plan on holidaying in North Portugal. There is lots to do and the beach is only a short drive away. I would love to go back next Summer!

We have had fantastic 10 days over there.It was a beautiful quiet and peaceful environment.Villa is so big with amazing swimming pool, Tennis table, Grill Barbecue, and Snooker Table. So it is perfect time to relaxing and refreshing. Great location, just 15 minutes by car and you can get many different places around the beach just like lagoa de Obidos.You need to try it! Have just returned from holiday in this villa, and the only complaint I have is that the weather was poor for three days. Nothing the villa owner could do about that!!!!! And nothing he had to do about this house. Its absolutely amazing. The photos do not lie. The villa is fab, and everything you might need is already there!!! It is rural - about 4km to Obidos. However, on the nights we went to town to dine, we taxied home (about 10€) and walked in to collect car next morning. Approx 35 mins - all downhill!! Its one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed, and its really private. The owner and his rep couldn't have done more to help us and were readily available to help with any enquiries we had. Would love to return to this villa and would have no hesitation in recommending it as a fabulous retreat in unspoilt Portugal. (Car essential)
