At 1:30am the fire alarm goes off in the second floor, there is an emergency evacuation message but it's only in Japanese. It was very difficult for foreigners to understand what's going on. They should also give the message in English. Fortunately, it was only a false alarm.

The rooms were nice and big with a lovely seating area. An impressive set of room products, including a great coffee machine! Good access to Kyoto and surrounding areas by train.

The best hotel we've been to in Japan so far. The staff speaks English very good which helped us check in/out pretty fast. The room was incredible, the bed very large and the bathroom larger than expected. We had breakfast there and it was so good; they even prepare an omelet for you (you have to try both styles proposed). Yamashina is pretty small and quiet but there are good restaurants and a casino where you can spend your money.

The location is great, only one train ride from Kyoto station, but in a quieter area, with a Muji supermarket nearby.

Very close to the train station and a local mall. The hotel was also very quiet. We arrived before check-in but the staff held our bags and then put them in the room before we came back to the hotel. Amenities in the room were very nice too.

Very cozy, stylish, spacious room. The amenities they provide are amazing. There’s a coffee machine in the room.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like. The bathroom interior might have been a little bit brighter, maybe.

Staff were so friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean, the baths for women was such a great bonus to go to after a busy day.

Could hear street noise from our hotel, but it wasn’t too late and it didn’t stop me from having a good night’s sleep.

I loved the stained glass windows, comfy beds, yummy breakfast, and lady’s onsen.

Location is very good, staff very polite, breakfast is good and variety and must try if you stay here. Hotel also has direct lift from the subway station. We got a room with good view! Thanks!

Not located at Keihan Raiway Station. Its abit noisy especially morning because its opposite to subway Station.

Everything was very good-comfortable beds, good location, clean, nice view, nice ladies spa, etc. We had a great stay.

I wish the restaurant was less expensive, we couldn't eat there because it was out of our budget.
