Lovely beach hut. Much more spacious than it looks in the photos. Very well equipped, extremely comfortable bed. And best of all the view is fantastic. We could sit there for hours just watching the water and the boats. Very relaxing.

Perfect - quiet - comfy - clean - amazing sunsets and plenty to do in Whitstable which is walkable for walkers along the beach- took 45 mins. We shared with our 10 year old granddaughter- she loved her little room and the beach. Warning you will gain weight in Whitstable - amazing food everywhere.

The location was so peaceful and felt so relaxed after arriving. The pictures are accurate, and was easy to find. We’ll be back

Lovely house right on seashore. Photos do not do it justice. Well equipped and very clean. The double doors and sofa are perfectly placed for watching the sea and sky on chillier evenings. Lovely relaxing week, with the tide kind enough for a morning swim.

Cosy chalet within a good walking distance to Whitstable. We walked there and back for lunch, a wander and a nose at the beachfront properties. Very relaxed atmosphere all round. The beach isn't perfect due to its geographical situation. Brilliant access and views to the beach from the decking and from inside. Outside space off the decking is "natural".

The beach retreat is wonderful. It was very clean and cosy, everything you could want was there. The view is outstanding whether you are outside watching/listening to the sea or watching the sunset or snugged up indoors with a cuppa. It was so relaxing - thank you Malinda for sharing your little gem, I hope to return soon x

Would definitely return in better weather. No negatives except my partner is 6ft 2" and the bed is simply too short - and too narrow just a small double and he fell out of the bed on the first night and then had to lie at a diagonal so we did not sleep well. The foot board is an issue for tall people. A larger bed would transform the experience. Body wash and other toiletries would have been useful too as I wrongly assumed they would be there... luckily my partner brought some. Coffee as well as the tea provided would also be a nice touch as we don't drink tea. Not a deal breaker just a suggestion. Overall it was perfect for our needs. Bring your own bluetooth speaker if you want to listen to music. Thank you for a lovely stay x

We enjoyed a glorious fortnight in early July here. Our second visit. The chalet is well organised and very comfortable. Love the location; amazing views and easy walks. Plenty of places to visit too.

A relaxing place to stay

Lovely apartment directly on the edge of the beach in Seasalter near Whitstable, cosy, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and everything you need to relax, can’t beat sitting with a cuppa watching the waves - what’s not to like!

This quaint retreat does a great job of maximizing a small space. The host is very responsive and the place was perfect for our three day holiday.

Well positioned on the beach at Seasalter. Lovely views over the Thames estuary toward Southend on sea. Very peaceful. An excellent place to escape and unwind and get away from the world. Very clean and cosy. It was lovely to wake up and have tea in bed and look out at the blue water. A bonus is that it is staggering distance of the outstanding Sportsman restaurant which we spent an excellent evening dining at. I would highly recommend.

Loved our stay at this property. Really lovely property. Very clean. Wonderful view of the sea. And lovely garden leading straight onto the beach. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely week where we were able to watch the sea and boats walked into Wickstable visited Canterbury cathedral and many more sites you can just sit and relax on the decking or explore the things around you and visit different places

This was a perfect getaway with a back garden to die for. Would hurry back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place, home from home, all amenities provided, a truely wonderful retreat, great host, would come back again, fabulous locaiton, all in all a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

So thrilled that we found The Beach Retreat, we loved every minute of our stay, waking up to see the sea at the bottom of the garden, the incredible sunsets, the perfect little beach themed accessories, we really didn't want to leave....so will just have to come back.

Wonderful beach retreat in a beautiful setting with everything in the property that you need. Found to be extremely clean and cozy and very easy to check in with no hassle whatsoever. Will definitively return for a relaxing weekend away from busy London

Nit picks, I know but.... Dust pan and brush would be useful. Downlighter in bathroom is not functioning properly. Pillows are very stained. Lovely property and ideally situated.
