Amazing location, comfortable and warm

Loved location very quiet and peaceful.

,Constantly had no WiFi and TV as this worked off the WIFI. kitchen utensils dirty, also cups, plates and bowls had to be wiped before use., table to sit down to eat and table mats had to be cleaned. No radio or signal to call agent as emergency calls only on mobile phones. Have elderly parents who I call everyday first thing in morning and last thing at night, had to go in car up the road to get a signal, NOT IDEAL! On advertisement it says bring own towels, it should also have said, bring hand soaps, bin bags, toilet rolls, radio, books, boardgames, dish cloths, etc So if you want a very very basic, at the lower scale of property to rent, well this is the place for you. We left after 2 nights as found midgies on walls and tired of no contact with parents and lack of understanding from owner. Told him to sack his cleaners!!!

location was great for a quiet weekend, lodge had plenty of space and all the home comforts, good heating system to keep it warm, fully fitted kitchen, good wifi

the roads coming into it can be a bit tricky when iced over but can't really be helped, snow would be a bit of nightmare... telephone signal also a bit of an issue.

Very quiet and secluded location, 10 minutes by car from Masham which has lots of lovely places to eat. Cabin was clean, and contained outside balcony was very handy for dogs to be outside safely.

The additional fees for dogs were vey high - particularly as dogs were only allowed in the main room of the cabin (not in bedrooms) and not on furniture. We stayed 2 nights and it cost £60 for two dogs, and this price was not stated on the website, only that "additional fees may apply" for dogs.

Showers great with plenty of hot water. TV in all rooms. Car park great. Kitchen facilities good.

Double bed mattress needs replacing ASAP. No sleep for the 3 nights we stayed. Dining room chairs very uncomfortable. Outside seating area needs to be more than just a wooden bench. Couldn’t sit and enjoy the decking area as to uncomfortable.
