I honestly can't say enough good things about our stay in Montreal. Andre was a wonderful host. He greeted us warmly and showed us all the features in his beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped apartment. He was available when we had questions, and even invited us to join the neighborhood celebration for St.-Jean-Baptiste day. It was awesome! The location of this place is so amazing - there were wonderful restaurants all around, coffee and ice cream shops, cafes, parks, a grocery store and pharmacy, and the metro was close - about an 8 min walk. I felt completely safe walking around by myself and navigating the metro with my older relatives. I loved Montreal and would 100% return to Andre's if I have another opportunity to visit.

There's a reason Andre-Bernard is listed as a "Premier Host" on the VRBO listing for his beautiful apartment in the quaint Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood. It's mostly because he seeks to make sure his guests have the most splendid time in the city that he loves. A splendid time is, indeed, what our family of five experienced. It began with him jumping into the passenger seat of our vehicle on our arrival to help us navigate the tight parking available. He took great care to see that we were settled and understood how to operate all of the amenities available at the apartment, including our favorite automatic espresso machine. Throughout the week, he made sure to offer suggestions on where to dine and what to see, including how to get to and from. We found that Montreal has a very user friendly biking and metro system, and we took full advantage of it. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops surround the Garnier apartment. And we especially loved watching the hustle and bustle of the local area from our second-floor perch outside of the living room. In our home state of Indiana, we live by this notion of "Hoosier hospitality." There's no doubt that Andre-Bernard is one of us in that regard. We appreciated his kindness and his commitment to making our stay a one for us to remember always. Merci Beaucoup!

My wife and I have stayed in VRBOs all across the US and Canada. This was by far the best experience. The host was absolutely amazing, the property was perfectly located with a grocery store, pharmacy, two local parks, eateries, bakeries, and shops in the neighborhood. Everything is walkable. The house itself was something you truly looked forward to returning to! The kitchen was amazing and the coffee maker was something you would not believe. We will definitely return!

A charming, tastefully decorated and comfortable apartment in a beautiful location in Plateau Mont-Royal. Steps to stores, restaurants and Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park. Pleasant 1 km walk along Laurier to subway. Excellent wifi. Enjoyed having coffee and drinks on sweet balconies at front overlooking picturesque Avenue Laurier and off kitchen overlooking courtyard. Well-appointed kitchen with new appliances. Spacious bathroom with tub and shower. We were four persons and having to take turns in the sole bathroom was only downside. AC kept us cool. Communication with André-Bernard was quick and easy. Highly recommended.

The apartment is perfect for a family trip. It is very clean and well-decorated, with an artistic vibe. Andre is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The area is very walkable - full of coffee shops and restaurants. It is very easy to arrive by metro or bike too! It exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend!!

Wonderful stay. We arrived early, a few hours before check in time, but as apartment had been cleaned were welcomed inside. Host Andre-Bernard was very gracious, answered our questions re the neighborhood and city in general, also took us through the use of the very fancy Miele kitchen appliances. Hope to come back!

We had a fabulous experience in all respects. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. The host wanted to make sure we had everything and were happy . The neighbourhood was charming with lots of restaurants and a nearby park. We loved just walking around and the subway stop was nearby. It was a great vacation, we'll definetely be back here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montreal, and André and his property were a significant contributor to that. He was gregarious and friendly, great with the kids, and took the time to give us a fun little orientation of the neighborhood before leaving us to our devices. Waking distance to several nice restaurants and bakeries, as well as a nearby grocery.

Two friends and I traveled to Montreal for the World Championship Figure Skating competition at the Centre Bell. The apartment was very spacious. The kitchen amenities and appliances were top notch. The bathroom was updated and very spacious.The apartment was very clean. Andre was an exceptional host. On our first day he stopped by to show us around and also answer all of our questions about the neighborhood and the best way to get around including where to buy our train tickets. I would highly recommend this property.

This is my second time staying in the apartment, I love it and would absolutely book again. It's so well-furnished with everything you need (adults and kids) and everything is available just outside the door. Quiet, too. We had a great stay!

This is a lovely apartment near Plateau Mont Royale. We were a 10 minute walk from the Metro and there are many excellent restaurants in walking distance. The place is a fantastic three bedroom apartment with everything you need including an amazing kitchen with an espresso maker! André was a great host. He recommended excellent nearby restaurants and made us feel so at home!

Incredible stay in Le Plateau neighborhood of Montreal! Our host was wonderful and even had some groceries waiting for us since we arrived on New Year’s Day and everything was closed. Beautiful apartment with a well-stocked kitchen. My wife loved the Miele coffee machine. Very cozy and comfortable accommodations. Great neighborhood with practically everything you need on Laurier street. Host was very responsive and helpful with suggestions.

What a lovely location for our anniversary trip with family! André-Bernard gave us great tips on where to eat in the area. We loved the property!

We fell in love with our week in this apartment, with wonderful hosts André-Bernard & Pepe, and with Laurier-Est. It's spacious, comfortable, beautifully equipped, incredibly clean, perfectly placed. André & Pepe could not be kinder or more responsive. Comfortable beds, wonderful bathroom, VERY well-equipped kitchen, and the balconies! The neighborhood is lively & full of bikes & families & students. Everything you need is within a couple of blocks, the métro is easily accessed, street parking is easy. It's very central for most sights that you'd want to get to, Vieux Montréal, the Botanical Garden, downtown, Parc Mont-Royal, Marché Jean Talon. There is a little street noise particularly in the morning and in the front bedroom, with delivery trucks—but we also had the windows open, and often the balcony door as well. I didn't find it bothersome. I honestly can't imagine a better, more welcoming, more comfortable place to stay.

André's apartment in the Plateau was absolutely perfect for our stay - clean, comfortable, and quiet in the ideal location. The first thing I noticed was how child-friendly it is: children's dishes, 2 low beds, nothing for them to knock over and break, as well as a stroller. We loved eating our meals on the back patio just off the kitchen. It looks into a shared courtyard and side street (Rue Garnier) but was never noisy. When there were people in the courtyard and my child was sleeping I just closed the patio door and couldn't hear anything! Furthermore, André is an amazing host. They are friendly, helpful, and responsive. They even offered us games for the children, but we were having so much fun exploring the nearby parks, pools, and bakeries that we didn't have time for them! If you are considering staying the the Plateau this apartment is a fabulous option!

The property was wonderful! Close to Metro, grocery, and restaurants. It was comfortable, clean and has the best coffee maker! Best of all were the hosts; they were fun, generous, kind and so hospitable! We felt like we made new friends!

This French inspired Apartment was a perfect base for our Montreal stay, as a family of 4 adults. Andre was a very hospitable and friendly host who made us feel extremely welcome, and helped us with our delayed arrival. We loved the balcony and people watching from it. The location was full of restaurants, bars and food shops for all you need. Would highly recommend, and will return one day.

My husband, two adult sons and I visited Montreal for a wedding and stayed in Andre-Bernard’s apartment. The three bedrooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more…I didn’t know there was such a thing as a steam oven until I stayed here. My favourite sitting spot was on the balcony overlooking the street…you feel hidden in the canopy of the tree while you gaze down on the activity in the street. But don’t be concerned about noise as we found the unit quiet and with the air conditioning very comfortable. Everything you need is within 2 blocks of the apartment, food, bakeries and restaurants, a park and Bixi bikes. We loved it here and will stay here again on our next visit.

This was a lovely place to stay during our visit to Montreal! We loved the neighborhood, and the property was clean and comfortable. It was also an easy walk to the metro, and from there easy access to sites around the city. Hope to stay here again!

We had a fabulous 5 days in Andre Bernard’s superb apartment, located in the super leafy, and quiet residential Mont Royal district. It is convenient for wonderful cafes/restaurants, buses and metros. The apartment itself is incredibly well kitted out, is very comfortable, and has two balconies where you can watch the world go by. Nothing was too much trouble for our host - he was most kind to us and gave us so many good suggestions for places to visit and cafes/restaurants. We would highly recommend this property, and we would love to return if we’re ever back in Montreal. Huge thank you from us all.

Beautiful location -- leafy and remarkably quiet -- owing to the extensive use of the bike lanes and comparatively low car/truck traffic. Many delightful stores and restaurants close by. Close to Metro and city bus lines going to the old town and various attractions. Extensive kitchen outfitted with everything you need and more. Andre was extremely hospitable and tolerant of our spotty French. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had such an amazing stay at Andre Bernard’s apartment! The size of the flat was perfect for a family stay (my husband, son, girlfriend and myself.) When we didn’t get our caféine beverages from the many excellent coffee shops around, we enjoyed making them ourselves from the sophisticated machine. We loved having our breakfast on the balcony with the best croissants ever from the pastry shop (rhubarbe), down the street. Their cakes are also to die for. Local delicious food stores are plentiful (cheese, butcher, vegetable etc... )We stayed 8 days and spent some of them just hanging around the neighborhood, absorbing the very chill atmosphere! It has the vibe of a small town, people hanging out, kids walking to school. I’ll definitively be coming back!

We loved Andre-Bernard's space! The big bed was super comfortable and the location could not have been more perfect. The apartment was clean, thoughtfully arranged and beautifully decorated, and ready for us earlier than expected. And the street outside was quiet and peaceful even on the weekend. A great time all in all!

Andree met us at the curb at his front door. He helped unload our car and then even helped me by finding a parking spot since it is street parking. The spot was so close that we left the car there the entire time we were visiting. We walked everywhere! There are shops and places to eat all along the street. I would highly recommend a food tour! So close to everything and the Metro is a few blocks away. The place is just as pictured. Our favorite part was the 2 balconies! So fun to sit and people watch. This was our second time in Montreal, but I will definitely book this place if I am ever visiting again!! And just ask him for suggestions. He will not steer you wrong!

The apartment is on the middle floor of a typical Plateau 3-story brick building, with large windows, balconies, wood floors. It's been renovated with top-of-the line kitchen appliances, new bathroom, well-insulated windows, etc. It's comfortable, bright, and quiet, despite being in the heart of a vibrant and walkable neighborhood. The host is extraordinarily kind and warm. Within a two-minute radius, one can find great food shops and one of the best pastry shops in Mtl - Rhubarbe. Hard to do better in this wonderful city.
