Really enjoyed our stay at this cozy guesthouse! It's in a great location, is beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything we needed! Would definitely book this top-notch property again!

Felt like home, close to good eating places and CBU where I was attending a week long event.

The owner responded promptly to the problems I found. It is undergoing a messy landscaping project right now. Could use a bit of an update. The yard had an old rug and other litter lying around.

My second time staying here. I like that it is in a residential neighborhood, so quiet and safe. But still an easy drive/Uber to many restaurants, downtown, zoo. etc. Full kitchen and very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to an issue that came up the first time I stayed here.

The blue cottage is so close to everything in the hip Cooper-Young district and not too far from downtown Memphis either! We took the bus or Uber to most of the sites and there is way too many good food places locally or downtown! Tru to got all the places on the bathroom artwork!

The house was just as described. It was a short drive to Graceland and Beale Street. The house is clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. Ben was responsive to any questions I had, and neighborhood seems safe. We would definitely stay there again.

Ben was responsive prior to our trip and gave great recommendations for local music, the Historic Lafayette’s music room was outstanding. The space was just as described and very comfortable for our extended weekend getaway.

The cottage was very clean and in a great location. It looked just like the pictures. We had an SUV and it was a little difficult to park in the driveway.

Cottage was located in Central Ave. Where many of the Southern Mansions are located. Cottage was behind one of those. It was nice and clean. It had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Driveway was tight but doable. We recommend this cottage for short safe stay.

The space was fantastic and given that I had a car it was a perfect location.

What a nice, cozy cottage with all the amenities needed.. My husband, our 16 yo grandson and I were very happy with our stay. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Nice neighborhood, quiet, very clean, nice decor and close to so many things. Owner was quick to respond to messages and provided a complete and thorough instuctions/directions. We were told the parking could be tight. But, we have a large SUV and didn't have any trouble getting in and out. (Even had room to change a flat tire!) Side street parking is also available. We would definitely stay again!!

Very nice freestanding cottage at location that is quiet and safe, but an easy drive or Uber to downtown and attractions. Unit is well designed and comfortable. Plenty big enough for four people. Full size kitchen if you feel compelled to cook while on vacation.

This is the 3rd property by this owner we have stayed at and all have been consistently clean, comfortable, up to date and well stocked. Beds very comfortable and Midtown location is perfect. The Blue Door was described as handicap accessible, which it was for the most part. I appreciated that there were no steps in to front door and there was a grab bar in the shower. The only thing missing was a grab bar by the toilet, which I’m hoping can be remedied. All in all it was a very pleasant stay! Thank you!

The check in process was super easy as was finding the property. We did have an overall negative experience with this rental. The house has water damage (stains on ceilings and walls, musty odor) and pests (ants and slugs.) Additionally the bath tub was rusty and there were stains on the mattress. There where positives it was a quick walk to multiple nice restaurants, and we liked the tv setup in both the bedroom and living room. Initially we were determined not to let the negatives spoil our trip but after having a slug crawl on the kitchen counter we decided to cut our trip short. Ben, the property owner, was very responsive and apologetic. We were immediately refunded for the balance of the time we didn't stay. I was on the fence about leaving a harsh review but our stay wasn't what we expected and I felt we should be transparent for other folks booking the rental. I hope the issues are addressed for the next guest.
