Beautifully decorated Savannah house! It is huge! Pictures do not do it justice! Super clean and location is great! Ubers come quickly. We have a very large English Bulldog and he LOVED the fenced in back yard. Lots of charm and character throughout the house. Very easy place to stay WITHOUT a lot of added requirements before check out! 😊 Host was wonderful and responds very quickly. Super easy check in and check out! We will absolutely stay here again!

I use the term girls loosely! We are all, but one, over 70. The house is a typical southern bungalow full of the 1920s charm. We spent very little time in the formal living room. Some time in the family room but when we were there we were in the kitchen. Isn’t that where everyone gathers? We were there 4 nights and 2 of them we were out. The other two we came back from dinner and played cards, in the kitchen, of course. The bedrooms were comfortable and only 2 of us he’d to share a bed but it was a king so that was fine. We were a little farther than walking distance from town but we had our own car and parking was available. We highly suggest you go to the Old Pink House for late breakfast or lunch. It was wonderful and I’d have just ordered 3 dessert if I’d known how delish they were. We also did the ghost tour that granted us access to a home and a warehouse. I hope we find our way back to Savannah again and I’d certainly enjoy staying at Lisa Mays again.

Lisa’s communication was so prompt and thorough. The home was cool and unique and perfectly located. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Street parking was plentiful and easy to navigate. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our stay at Duffy Street Bungalow was just the perfect combination of southern flavor, cleanliness, close proximity, rich history and all-around feeling of being in a home away from home. Lisa’s communication was exceptional, signs everywhere with great info, everything we needed in the kitchen, great air conditioning plus box fans in each room, room enough for four couples plus a single, big living room to gather and nice kitchen for meals. We had a great 3-night wedding-weekend stay and hope to be back in Savannah soon! Thanks, Lisa, for some great memories made!

My 8 bridesmaids and I had the most wonderful time staying here! The host was so easy to work with and had instructions all around the house to remind us how to best care for it. The rooms were SO spacious and the air conditioning was perfect. My only concern was the lack of comfort for the pull-out couch but I guess that is to be expected. Would definitely stay again!

We recently stayed at this beautiful VRBO property and had an absolutely amazing experience! The description and photos were spot-on, and everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Communication with the owner “Lisa” was excellent throughout the entire process. They were responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met.

Easy and accommodating host let us have a nostress vacation, walking distance to all historic Savannah offerings.

We enjoyed our stay at this home in Savannah. The walk to shopping and dining was further than I thought. The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of a partial rolls of paper towels and only 1 dishwashing tablet. The home was clean but needed attention with dusting. Upstairs bathroom sink was slow to drain. Overall the home was unique and decorated beautifully. Very comfortable for our group of ladies.

Stayed here for one week with my husband and our two pups. Everything about the property was excellent. The master bed was comfortable (the only bed we used), the kitchen was well stocked, necessary supplies were provided, and best of all was the location. We walked everywhere - most destinations were within a 30 minute walk or less. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are very pretty full of interesting architecture. We were lucky that the weather was very pleasant during our stay. Lisa was an excellent host and promptly responded to any communications. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Savannah. Thank you Lisa!

Our group of four '70's UGA grads found this place to be just perfect for our 3-night getaway. Got there Sunday afternoon - what a funky vibe! Loved the themed bedrooms - so spacious and inviting. The place was gleaming and spotless, and we appreciated the artsy décor, from the eclectic clocks in the foyer to the beautiful chandeliers and light fixtures throughout. Our Monday plan was to explore the area between Forsyth Park and the river, and be back at the house for dinner and wine time. It took us about 45 minutes to walk to the river where we enjoyed lunch at Vic's on the River and bought our Old Savannah Trolley Tour tix for the next day. The house is so comfortable, well-stocked, and in a great location. I would only suggest supplying some stemless wine glasses (at least 4 of them), as there are only 3 traditional wine glasses provided. Tuesday, we set out again, hopping on and off the trolley and getting our steps in as we took in the history and beautiful parks/squares in Savannah. Our lunch was at Crystal Beer Parlor, a much-recommended spot, and it didn't disappoint. Back to our home-away-from-home to hang out, visit and cook up another delicious dinner. Lisa was always available if we had any questions, and we didn’t mind the little posted reminders around the house. Obviously, some people still don’t know what you can’t throw down the toilet, and I don’t blame her for wanting to protect this fabulous little place so others can continue to enjoy it! Our only negative was the parking area in back was smaller than we had anticipated from the pictures, and we could only park one of our three vehicles inside the gated fenced area. There was adequate street parking though. We will definitely be back, next time for a longer stay!

The whole family came up from Florida for a wedding celebration. The house was a perfect fit for us (Grandkids, a dog, etc). Comfortable, clean and in a great location near Forsyth Park. The owner was wonderful, sending us great information on things to do and places to go. We highly recommend this home if you are considering a visit to Savannah.

A charming historic home with splashes of modern art everywhere. Don’t let the age of the home rob you of its beautiful history and welcoming atmosphere. If you have sticky fingered children or are looking for a party pad, this house is not for you. If you are looking to fall in love with Savannah and enjoy the local culture, this house is a must!

This place has been our best VRBO we’ve stayed at yet! Very roomy and felt like a real home away from home! Located next to several places to eat or check out during our stay. Owner was very friendly and easy to work with and made sure we had all the info to help navigate our stay.

Very comfortable accommodations

The property was very well-situated, and comfortable and clean and safe-feeling. While we were there, the neighborhood was very quiet. We did not have a dog with us, but it was really nice to know we could have brought one! All very good! We had 7 adults using all 4 bedrooms, and I was worried that the 2 full bathrooms would be insufficient, but that worked out just fine. We had trouble with the house internet, but we had enough phones, and a hotspot, so we did not work on solving the problem. I feel confident Lisa would have helped us fix it if we'd persisted. It was a very nice place to stay, and the group all enjoyed themselves there. Thank you!

I loved staying here. For nights in, there is plenty of kitchen, living room, and backyard space for game night. For days / nights out the property is a cheap Uber away from anything you might want to do.

This property was just perfect for our family getaway. Even the 4 legged family members! It was close enough to the activities and sights of Savannah but not too touristy!

The house was old but very nice and comfortable. It accommodated our family of 9 very well. Nice neighborhood and sits across from a park.

Lisa was great and easy to communicate with prior to arrival providing lots of directions and suggestions to make our stay comfortable. House was in a good location. On street parking was never an issue. We were able to walk to River Street and Forsyth Park ~1 mile. Found a few restaurants closer by to walk to and easy drive to see the Savannah Bananas game and Tybee Beach. Wifi worked great as 3 of us worked remotely from the house. We loved the fenced backyard and the fact that we could bring our little dog with us. All in all good location, beds we’re comfortable and Lisa was a great host.

Wonderfully stay at this beautiful house. House is on a quiet street that’s less than 10 mins from everything Savannah has to offer. Each room is eclectically decorated and the house has everything you need to enjoy your time in Savannah. Lots of room to spread out. House was clean, cozy, and exactly what we wanted for our time there. Host is very communicative and provided lots of helpful tips and ideas for how we could enjoy our short trip.

Vacationing family of four adults and one fur baby. Our first time in Savannah and we couldn't have been happier with this location. Very walkable to Forsyth Park, downtown, and the river. Additionally, there is a grocery store a few minutes away. The house itself is beautiful and really has a historic vibe. We were a small group but there was definitely plenty of space for more. Loved that the back yard is fenced and secure. Prompt and friendly responses from the host whenever I had a question. Highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay in this nice quiet neighborhood. Close enough to walk places, close to Forsyth park but nice residential street. Owner is very responsive.

Beautiful house. Love the themed rooms. Elderly may find the stairs a little challenging. Take your time but my 90 year old parents loved the house. Nice parking in back if needed. Very quit area. Nice size kitchen to cook in. Large family room made it fun for game night. Comfortable beds. One shared full bath upstairs for the four rooms. A full bath downstairs. The coloring of the outside of the house was fantastic for our graduation photos.
