Everything was great , condo clean and updated! Just didn’t have an elevator, so it was difficult carrying ice chests and luggage 3 flights ☹️

Condo was exceptionally nice and decor was beautiful. We were able to walk to Walmart to get necessities. View of the gulf was great. Enjoyed the balcony until the weekend, then the traffic noise was too loud. Parking lot was tight for larger vehicles. Although it is out of the owners control, the office staff were not pleasant when we were paying for parking.

Doc quarters are just as advertised, beaitiful place perfect location. Right on the trolly line, across from the beach , they do have beach chairs, and a cooler to take with you. The beds are comfortable along with the pillows We never cooked here but plenty of pots and pans. They do have a small keurig. Already planning to return.

Came for a wedding but had extra days for the beach. Loved the location. Very easy beach access and the pools were great. Great food options as welll. We even did Uber Eats to the beach!

Absolutely loved this place and it was everything that was promised. The 3rd floor walk-up was tough after the Ironman, but we knew that going in and no floor above hard walkers to deal with. Clean, quiet, close to everything we wanted to do. Kind of central to two piers so we would walk to one or the other each morning. Not quite on-season so traffic and parking was easy. Even if peak time, the light right next to condo makes access to Seawall road easy. Walked to Walmart one day and Kroger was just a bit farther down - short drive. The Kroger was better for wine and higher end prepared foods if interested. Condo pools were relaxing and hot tub was perfect temp. Spent every day on deck for breakfast, every evening ended with wine reading our books. Staff was friendly and engaging when we saw them. Weight room met our needs since we typically use dumbells and bench - which it had. When reaching out to owners, they were very responsive and typically got back to me within minutes. Never contacted for issues, just questions, coordinating on new codes for month, checking in and out. No complaints at all and I would book it again without hesitation.

What a great stay! This unit is in a great location, right across Seawall Blvd from the Gulf of Mexico. Watching the waves while having coffee on the deck was fabulous! The road does get pretty busy at times with some loud vehicles, but the noise didn't filter into the unit at all. There is a trolley stop right outside the complex, and for $1 we were able to get down to the Pier and even to the cruise terminal downtown. We stayed in this unit for three nights, and found it to be perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. Be warned that there are a couple of big staircases to get up to the third floor, but that was probably our biggest 'problem', if you could call it that. If you're heading to Galveston, we highly recommend this condo!

We had a great stay in Yolanda’s condo. Unit and location were perfect. View from the balcony is spectacular. Roomy unit and great beds.

We came down for Mardi Gras and had a great stay at Doc’s Quarters. The condo is absolutely perfect and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again.

Hot tub not working-

The condo was perfect for our family! We loved sitting with the door open and listen to the ocean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals while we were there. The location is excellent as the beach had very few people on it, a bit further down was more crowded. There were times when we were the only ones on the beach. The only mildly disappointing thing (which is not the condo owners fault at all) was that my kids were looking forward to the heated pool but it wasn't heated at all. The pool areas were gorgeous! We would stay here again in a heart beat!!

Truly enjoyed our stay. Trip too short. I will be back!

Condo is in a good location and close to everything. A little disappointed with the tape in multiple spots to hold down the flooring. Next door neighbor was renovating and that was annoying. Pools are nice.

The Condo is very nice with really comfortable beds. Everything we needed for the family was provided and checking in with the condo association went smooth. The pools are nice and close by, we used them every day we were there. I would stay here again for sure.

Our stay was wonderful in this beautiful beachfront condo. Yolanda was very helpful with leaving all instructions needed for our stay, and very pleasant to work with. One thing I loved about the condo was the beautiful view of the beach right outside on the condo deck. Also, lots to do in the Galveston area close by as well! Would recommend this condo as a must stay for sure!

This condo was absolutely adorable and just perfect for our family trip. The view from the patio was just like in the picture. They made instructions for check-in/out very clear. They also labeled little reminders around the condo that made things super easy for us to remember. The pools/shower area was welcomed after the days in the sand at the beach. Highly recommended!!!

What a great stay! Everything was as described. The beach is right across the street. Also, it is very important to us that there is a spot to cross the busy Seawall to get to the beach as we have little ones. Thanks for opening your home.

This was our second time staying at "The Dawn" condos. We love the location and the views from the Gulf front units are outstanding! The property was neat and clean and as described in the listing and we appreciated the in-depth information that Yolanda was able to provide about our stay and Doc's Quarters unit. Our only complaint is that both pools, while very nice and large, were cloudy and very dirty during our stay. Typically they close the pools on Monday for cleaning, but we arrived Tuesday afternoon and the pools were noticeably cloudy. The kids still loved them!
