Read the reviews. There are 2 separate property mgmt companies. Evolve does the advertising and payments and Short Stay Florida handles the maintenance and cleaning. Our number one issue is no private beach access. The reason we chose this property is we have stayed in this neighborhood before and know it has private beach access. It seems 6 months ago the HOA eliminated it for rentals. Evolve still has it listed as private beach access. Had we known this, we wouldn’t have rented.There is a public beach access 1/2 mile away. The first floor is serviceable and the kitchen is very nice. But the upstairs carpet probably needed to be replaced more than 10 years ago. There is an overall musty smell upstairs. The walls have tons of patches and touch ups that don’t match. The linens are very old and need to be replaced. Sliding door sticks badly and the glass is separating from the frame. As for security, a swift pull would open the doors. Several toilets are loose, sink handle in bathroom is off, At least one TV doesn’t work, Water heater in master doesn’t last long. Lots of maintenance has gone undone. We did not contact them during our stay. It’s not like they’d send a paint crew or replace the carpet while we were there. Just be advised of the actual condition of the house. Our Short Stay Florida rep (Val) was very nice and the house was clean. There are 3 A/C units and we were able to keep the house cool. Didn’t notice any slow drains as others have mentioned.

We appreciated the house and 5 bedrooms with numerous beds as we were 6 adults and 4 children. The beds were very comfortable. The decoration was simple but pleasant. The children had lots of space to play in the pool or read in the huge dining room on the sofas After we complained about the lack of spoons, bowls and linens in the kitchen, we received what we needed. So, a nice house but it needs a serious cleaning of the carpets on the upper floor, especially in the big bedroom or to take them off.

Beautiful floor layout allowing for a lot of private space and location to the beach entry is amazing. Washer/Dryer are new and a highlight! Ample supply of starter dish soap, hand soap in the bathrooms and paper towels/toilet paper. Unfortunately, the property is in disrepair and does not warrant the price per night as listed. All bedrooms but one are 78-80 at night even after the handyman and technician visit (who stated a new A/C was needed). We personally bought 3 fans from Target to help with sleep, as ceiling fans only push hot air down. A hissing opossum lives under the front steps by the door, and although a trapper was requested, one never came. We also had daily visits from raccoons during the day and people knock on the door at night. The pool heater worked, and we actually had to have it shut off by the pool guy as the pool temp was up to 94 degrees. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood many times, and this house has so much potential, it just needs some owner love. A/C is the major issue, sinks don’t drain, ceiling fans are caked with dust, the carpet upstairs is at least 20 years old, dead bugs under the beds, landscaping is overgrown, grill is falling apart (and a very broken one just sitting in the corner of the backyard), kitchen cookware could be replaced and is small for a house that sleeps so many, tile in upstairs bath is literally crumbling, not all sliding glass doors lock (entry to the house), the garage looks like a hoarding situation from the back windows. Short Stay Florida is amazing and does all they can with excellent communication but we got the sense the owner truly does not care about this property.

Plenty of room for the adults and kids. Good location. Short walk to beach AC is probably undersized for the house, as others have commented, but we found it to be comfortable enough. The house has plenty of fans to help move the air around. Pool is wonderful Kitchen supplies were definitely sufficient Would stay again without question.

The home was beautiful and fun for a group. Conveniently located. Host was great!

Overall, this house is HUGE and was a great place to stay near the beach. It’s about a 7 minute walk and the house had lots of chairs and floats to use at the pool and beach. Kitchen is well stocked with anything need to prepare and cook meals and grill worked great. Check in and out was super easy and they were very helpful! We left my daughter’s stuffed toys on accident and they shipped them to us. I just sent the shipping cost. The upstairs is a little on the warm side, but has fans in most rooms. Bring bug spray as it’s Florida and lots of mosquitoes outside! Really had a wonderful long weekend and would recommend the house!

We had an amazing time and were very comfortable in this house. 1 block to gated private beach. Definitely recommend this property.

This Pompano Beach home is perfect for grilling and chilling. Stayed here Sat - Mon, with a couple of friends prior to going on a cruise out of Port Everglades. We felt like we had our own private oasis! Never had to leave the house once we got groceries! Fully recommend. Mike was a great host. Texted friendly reminders throughout to make sure we didn’t miss any check in or check out procedures.

everything was just like i expected

Master bedroom AC did not work! We complained about it since day 1 to property manager. On the last night, no one could sleep upstairs . The only place that had cool A/c was in the family room. That’s where our family, who we’re staying upstairs , slept -on the floor. Val, the property manager, agreed that Master was like a sauna for all 4 days, and Friday , upstairs A/C wasn’t working. “Evolve “ from Colorado, said the A/c was fine. They were obviously not in the house. Also, the carpet was damp and it smelled like mildew!! There were water stains on the ceiling on various locations. We have pictures documenting this. Also, we paid for the pool to be heated , and complained to Val because it only was heated for 1 day. The floor in the family room was filthy, and there were cigarette butts by the pool chairs and some in the pool. The toilet at the top of the stairs was shooting out water until Val came to fix it. The A/c filters were filthy. Shelves were dusty Silverware in kitchen dirty Light above the bar was flashing ( Val fixed that) Outside light did not work until Val fixed it.

We had a family reunion for our Dad’s celebration of life. The pictures accurately depict the home. It’s lovely inside and out. The outdoor patio area is covered and close to the pool. Enough bedrooms and beds to accommodate our family of 8 (4 couples and 1 infant). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach is a quick walk away. We found the entrance from the southern gate provided the best beach and swim option (less seaweed on the ground & in the water). Al- in-all a wonderful weekend.

The home is lovely. It has a lot of open space and seating which is great for large families. The pool area is the absolute best! It has a nice open kitchen conducive to cooking. The master bedrooms upstairs and downstairs are great. The other rooms are just standard, yet comfortable rooms with televisions. The property could use a few upgrades and do a little more than just the bare minimum to ensure guests are comfortable. It's an older home. The TVs did not have apps like Netflix. The showers did not have racks to place your toiletries. No mirrors in a few of the bedrooms. You really have to be sure you bring everything you need with you. We had to buy certain kitchen items, like a pitcher, and leave it there because they didn't have one. The host could also improve communications, I contacted them a week in advance for questions so we could pack properly. I had to follow up two other times and still did not get a response. I never got my questions answered. Once it was time to check in, they were communicative, very friendly and accommodating. Overall a good experience and I would recommend this place for people who are fine without the perks other places offer. Last thing the private beach is nice but isn't exactly private and a few blocks walk away.

We had a lovely visit at this home! The location was stunning, the pool and home were very nice, clean and fun. The BBQ is a little old and in need of some TLC, but everything was just perfect for us. The home manager is a dream, easy to communicate with and super attentive. HIGHLY recommend!

I would like to say that the house is beautiful, clean and in a very quiet area. I recommended 100% And the communication and assistance we're perfect. Next year we will come back.

Spacious house in a great and safe location. Close to a spacious beach and only a few minutes away from the municipal golf courses. The managers were super nice and catered to us throughout our stay.

I messaged the property manager about the below issues and did not hear back. The pool Fountain is broken. The bathrooms were not cleaned well prior to our arrival. They had hair all over the floor and hair clogged the upstairs sink. There is black mold on the tile in the master bathroom. There are no locks on any of the doors. When I messaged the management about getting it fixed, they said there were no lock because kids would lock themselves in the bedroom. That could easily be fixed if they just had the special locks with pins to unlock them from the outside.The cleaning fee for this was too high compared to how much we had to do to remove sheets, excetera prior to leaving AND because it was dirty on our arrival.

All rooms were spacious and living areas were open and we loved the pool. The manager was helpful when we had questions.

The location and size of this property is amazing! The property could use a thorough cleaning and some updates.

This property is near the beach allowing us to do water activities. Nice quiet neighborhood and the house plenty of space.

The positives for this rental - The house was a great size and decent layout for our group of friends. The bedroom layout and pool were great. However, there were a number of aspects to the house that appeared to be worn - the carpet was grungy, most of the beds were not very comfortable and had awkward plastic mattress covers or what looked like puppy pee pads under the sheets. There was trash left behind the curtains and some questionable stains on the bed skirt of the king size bed upstairs. The towels were very worn. The upper rack of the dishwasher was very rickety and one of the drawers in the refrigerator was broken. It was the number of “little” things that added up to leave the house feeling somewhat run down for a rental property. The key fob that we were given for the beach access didn’t work and we had to contact them twice to get a new one. And it was odd that on our first morning a man showered up (unannounced) as we were eating breakfast to clean the pool - with no heads up or written notice in the info provided for the rental. We made the best of it, but I am not sure I would rush to return to this particular house unless I knew it had been updated.

Amazing house with fantastic pool and deck

Super large vacation home with comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. I enjoyed daily walks to the beach while passing by gorgeous mansions. We were 5 couples and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. I would reccommend this rental.

We booked the house for a much-needed Family Vacation. It was quite comfortable located in a small quiet neighborhood about a block from the beach. Large enough to accommodate 10 people with room to spare! The pool was great with plenty of floats and toys for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Well organized kitchen all in good condition. Clean rooms and a very nice heated pool. Grandkids will be talking about the pool for years! Outside of the house needs some paint and the grounds were not in the best condition but acceptable . Having rented houses from Martha Vineyards to the Carribian I would give an overall excellent location, nice walk to the gated beach, but the pool was the best.

The property had several shortcomings: leaks that made walls pop up when raining; lack of airconditioning vent in one of the bedrooms; lack of bed and bath linens for change and the condition of the ones offered were far from what we are used to; the TV cable package was not on and took them three days to fix it. the pool heating system stopped for a whole day and a half. In all, the standards of a 5 star stay were far from being met and we were very disappointed.
