Enjoyed our stay at the chalet, perfect for ski get away if you like the real cabin experience. We gathered in the den/dining area every evening for family time and to unwind after long day on slopes next to wood stove. My only complaint is the owners could upgrade their cable TV set-up. Does not have any of the good basic cable channels such as ESPN. Missed college football playoffs.

Just as you'd expect a camp to be. Bed was comfortable which is always a plus.

Location was great, but it went downhill after that. Very dark place, the odors you had to deal with musty, and an odor that smelled like there were dead animals in walls or foundation. The owner tried to cover it up with air freshener and candles. Did not work. Unit was very outdated. Trying to work on it while renting, and very high price for what it looked like. The stairs to go upstairs very steep and hard to get up. I could continue but I won't, would never rent again.

Wonderful time perfect location!!! we came up for Storyland and Fryeburg Fair and this location could not have been more perfect. The house was great very cozy!!!

My experience with this property was good almost everything listed was there. Great little chalet with a good outdoor feel and experience. Only thing i would say needs some attention is the back deck needs to be renewed and the sliding doors as well.

Just as we expected, a wonderful place to stay.

We really loved the warm inside design of a well decor home. The woods and forest surrounding the home and nature was there with us. Everything was right about this property and we will return.

Nothing fancy and everything you need and more. Three comfortable queen beds in three rooms. Very steep stairs almost like a ladder, fine for young, agile people and pets. Loved bringing the dog. Loved the big table for playing games. Netflix and other services provided. Good internet. N8ce central location but in the woods. Appreciated having the place to ourselves without the owner hovering over us like has happened with other Conway rentals. Not for people who dislike clutter, or need everything in perfect repair or who are picky or pristine, but if you are chill, love unique experiences, or forgot anything like 3 kinds of birthday candles or two kinds of coffee you are good to go. Excited to have a falcor sighting as we were packing to go. Would love to come back again!

It is exactly as stated. A great value for for the area. 3 good sized bedrooms for an A frame house. Recent remodel of bathrooms and one of the bedrooms. My only complaint would be the low ceilings. I am 6ft2 and it was a close fit for me. Wouldn't recommend for anyone over 6ft4. Otherwise would rent again. Hope to this ski season.

Location was great, 10 minutes to town, 20 to hiking. The inside was clean. The property needs some serious maintenance. None of the windows open, the inside smells really musty, half the lights don’t work, and the grounds of the property need to be raked. It’s a great place if you’re just going to sleep but if you’re expecting somewhere to gather and stay all weekend I’d pick somewhere else.

It was a nice size house to relax at. The porch was our favorite and we had good weather so it was nice to sit out there in the morning and hear nothing but the birds and animals walking through the woods. There are shops and a gas station close by, perfect little spot. Definitely coming back!

Really only one workable bathroom, and house smelled very bad.

The house was not clean, the description did not match the house and there were appliances not working. The cleaning people did not come. The owner tried to make up for it. After a 3.5 hour ride there, we drove to the local Walmart and bought new sheets and towels. He reimbursed us. However, in a global pandemic, we were pretty grossed out. We still had to strip the beds and clean the house, which he did reimburse. Put sheets and towels in the washer/dryer. The dryer did not work. He called repair man. Needed a part. We walked by the dirty sheets and towels from previous guests every time we walked in/out of the house. We had dirty clothes as we packed anticipating washing a load of clothes and was not able to. The house listed a king sized bed. There was no king. My husband is 6'4" tall we do not fit in anything less and chose the house because of the description. He slept alone, one of my kids slept on the couch. There was 1 .5 bathrooms . The bathroom upstairs had a leaky toilet and made the floor wet and there was no hot water. The descriptions said there was a pool table. There was not. The owner tried to make it better but only reimbursed us $50 for inconveniences

Cute and cozy chalet with plenty of room and a great screened in porch - we pretty much lived on the porch most of our stay. Property manager was very responsive and great to work with. Would highly recommend and will probably be using it again for another trip.

This house set in the woods was perfect for me and my son and our dogs. Last minute booking was very accommodating. Three bedrooms (only used two) were up some steep steps. The dogs would not climb up them and slept downstairs. The owner I had done some updates upstairs. No air conditioning but had fans in every room. Very comfortable. Loved the smell of pine outdoors and being in the woods very quiet. Perfect stay for us!

Great place to stay, close to Conway shopping areas and multiple ski resorts.

We had a great time staying at this cabin. It was perfect for our family and close to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was adorable and perfect for a long weekend trip. It was very cozy - great for game nights and group dinners. The place was a short distance to town to rent skis and to Attitash Mountain. The host was super accommodating and let us check-in early, which we greatly appreciated. We would definitely come back again, thank you!

We were looking for something with a fireplace and that was dog friendly, this was both. Cozy camp like modified A frame in a small village of other A frame camps / cabins. The living room was a perfect setup for hanging out and watching movies, full cable plus options to log into Netflix, Prime, Sling ... . Comfortable couch in from of fireplace. Convenient access to Conway, about 3 miles away.

This rental is pretty rough around the edges. The main entrance passes through a galley kitchen, which results in traffic jams when cooking meals. The bedrooms are interconnected and small, with little privacy. Access is via a very steep stairs. Some of the furniture is broken.

Not sure how much the owner pays for his cleaning person because they don’t deserve much. Between the spider webs, dead bugs, expired food and musty smell my family did not want to stay. After unpacking and making dinner we decided to take showers and go to bed. During the first shower the water ran out. It took 2 phone calls and a call to VERBO for the owner to get back to us. It was not fixed until noon the next day. We had to leave to use bathroom facilities and eat which we hoped to not have to do as the main reason we rented a house with a full kitchen. Was to save money and not eating at restaurants. Communication with the owner was very hard and we will probably never book a vacation this way again although VERBO was very understanding and helpful this vacation was not a great memory.

Great little cabin for a woods/river weekend. Small but works well for small groups. We had a great time!! Look forward to going back for ski season!

I loved the location of the property! Very close to the outlets and restaurants amd not too far from Jackson falls! John didn't send me to code to get into his home, I had to contact him the day of my arrival (not a huge deal). The chalet was somewhat clean and there was no AC so it was hot! But plenty of fans. The day we left we had bats flying around us that was the biggest downfall. Contacted the owner hopefully problem will be solved soon. We had a great time otherwise.
