The host is easy to reach out through the chat atanytime. The rooms had all needed equipments. The washroom was very clean an confy.

It is a nice place that great fit for the family.Large apartment and very helpful staff.

It is hot and there is only AC unit in the bedroom.There is a fan in the living area.

Very cosy and relatively central, very easy to get anywhere with Uber and was absolutely spotless. Any questions or issues were dealt with immediately by staff and would highly recommend to a friend.

Honestly couldn't fault it, we had a great time there and it's perfect for a short trip to Cancun

The apartment is well relocated very convenient to get to the ADO Station from where you can take a bus to the airport directly. The decor is beautiful and is of Mexican style.  The kitchen is fully furnished with all sorts of utensils, spoons, forks, and knives.  It is an ideal place if you want to cook by yourself. The hosts are very friendly.

The apartment is very large and very clean. Everything was in good working condition. I especially appreciated the little touch of having a cold beverage waiting for me in the fridge.... after my super long travel day, that was big! The location is good, because the building is close to restaurants, convenience stores and transportation. The neighborhood has a few pockets of very cool streets and individual houses, which I discovered on a very easy walk to the ADO bus station. In summary, I can definitely recommend Gaia Studios, and I would stay there again when I'm back in Cancun.

Very quaint street, quiet and comfortable stay overall. Easy access to good restaurants and main areas of downtown cancun. Easy to get in and out of the apartment etc. Well equipped kitchen and access to drinking water helped!

We were assigned room #1 and there are only very small windows at the top of the wall so there is not much light entering the living room or bedroom. windows would have been nice or else more sources of light. It felt a bit dark at times. There was also a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom, nothing unbearable but would have been better without ofcourse. Both rooms are very large but there is air conditioning only in the bedroom, so it is difficult to lounge in the living room without feeling extremely hot (also because there are no windows for ventilation).

Location is great - near the bus stops and shops. Silent street next to the house. There is no car noise at night. Good shower, shampoos, and all necessary staff for taking a shower. There is even body cream. Huge, comfortable bed. Good WiFi. Clean and good AC. Professional staff and customer support. Cute kitty has been coming to visit us and have some food and water. Please, if you see her, do not hesitate to feed her and pour some water. She is a smart and nice lady :)

Synthetic bed linen that makes you sweat at night. Used and tired kichenware, pans need to be replaced. No drinking water in the apartment, only outside. But it has strange taste. Loud water pumer that you need to get used to. One day we went out without a phone and couldn't get back because the code for enter had been changed, but no one had been warned about that. We had to sit on the road and wait for someone coming to open the door.Otherwise, everything went well.

A cockroach that greeted us on the very first evening and a very dark apartment that we got.

My 2 week stay in the 1-bedroom apartment at GAIA STUDIOS deserves 5 stars, but I do want to give an in-depth review: This is not a place to party. This is a place for peace. These apartments are amazing, peaceful, super clean and VERY comfortable. The bed was wonderful, my kitchen was completely functional with pots and pans and silverware, cutting board and knives; there is a 5 gallon purified water dispenser. The place is an instant home. And the location is *amazing*. No car needed at all. Adorable coffee shop, excellent local food as well as a Dominoes, IHOP and huge Walmart all are a very short walk. You can grab a cab and be at the public beach behind Coco Bongo for $15-20. I will 100% be back to GAIA STUDIOS! However, let me talk to the Americans for a moment: Hi. These apartments are 5 stars for an economy location and they are WONDERFUL. But if you are expecting a "five star hotel" that is not what this is. These are EXCELLENT budget apartments. Everywhere in Cancun there is a little sewer-gas smell in the bathrooms. Here is no different. The airconditioner is strong but it is in the bedroom only. You will sleep great! But the adjoining living room and kitchen will be slightly less cool. If you have a person sleeping in the living room you will have to leave the bedroom door open to cool that room. And finally: there is the sound of the apartment complex water heater/ water pump that cycles prett loudly in the bedroom. It freaked me out at first but within 24 hours I didn't even notice it anymore. But I could imagine that for noise-sensitive people it might drive them crazy. If you don't like light mechanical drilling-type noises when you sleep, bring earplugs. Since most folks don't shower in the middle of the night, the noise abates completely for much of the deep night, and starts when people start showering again in the morning. This IS a 5-star place for a non-resort budget apartment!

Occassional but short-lived rowdiness from the adjacent apartments, but thankfully quieted down.

The apartment was big, very comfortable and fully equipped. Location is great - near restaurants, markets, ADO station and Parque de las Palapas. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The apartment was big and comfortable… i Stayed only for a night after arriving late at the airport and it was just the most comfortable and welcoming apartment to rest properly after long travels… would have loved to stay longer, nothing was missing. Everything was well-communicated, easy and available. The welcome drinks and water dispenser were a great touch.

you can enter without a fysical check In. it works with an entry code and key in a code secured thing. so that’s cool! we stayed here because we arrived at 01.00 in the morning and this accomodation serves you with a (paid) transfer from the airport. we picked up our rental car at europcar, which is around the corner.

the fridge was making noice in the night. but without the thing in the socket it was quiet. but we let the host know and he is going to fix it

To someone who searched to be in the center of Cancun for 2 nights and not in the hotels zone the location was amazing. It is a walking distance from 2 of the malls, the A.D.O station, mercado 28 which is a nice market. The apartment looks really nice, the kitchen has everything and bed is very comfortable.

It's a self check-in but we didn't get the instruction after the booking. We booked an hour before the check-in time we when we got there we had to wait for 50 minutes because we couldn't catch the property's owner. Other than that the check-in was easy and if you book in advance there shouldn't be a problem The water in the shower was weak sometimes (myabe something of water pressure) but it was to short periods of time and didn't bother so much.

We loved the place; the room is spacious and clean.

The energy in this place is calm and peaceful. The facility is clean, well kept and felt very safe. The decor was charming. Our suite was absolutely perfect! And the aromatherapy from their citrus soap. Wow! Just wow! I had read reviews raving about the soap. I totally get what the rave was all about :) The water dispenser with bottled water was a thoughtful touch I haven't seen anywhere else we stayed and we really appreciated it! And the clothing rack was super useful as we were due for a load of laundry. The staff we encountered was friendly. They were kind enough to extend our check out time to accommodate our family. Although we weren't by the ocean, the location was convient. Everything you need is nearby and walking distance, including the SEA Bus stop that takes you to the hotel zone. Staying here allowed us to immerse ourselves with the locals. It was great! I would 100% return here if we go back to Cancún. Muchas Gracias Gaia Studios! :)

The water pressure and hot water was being temperamental. For showers, it helped having two bathrooms as the pressure in one was better than the other. The only other thing (which shouldn't be an issue to anyone without small children) was that the gap between the metal bars of the balcony was very wide. It's a bit dangerous for young kids, especially for our toddler. So just make sure to keep an eye on your littlest one if on the balcony. These small details in no way affected our stay. This place was very lovely and met our expectations!
