My family had the best stay! The home was perfect. You can't beat the location and amenities. We especially loved being able to put our kayaks into the creek in the backyard and get all the way out to Silver Lake. Jon was gracious and super responsive. The home was clean and had great supplies. My dogs loved it as well. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

We had 7 adults stay here and there was more than enough space to sleep and hang out. The house is right on the canal that leads to Silver Lake. They had kyacks and a paddle boat to use. Lots of big fish in the canal if you like to fish. This house is super close to town and the dunes.We loved it so much we booked it for next year already!!

Perfect location in a quiet sub. I would add we parked a 27' enclosed trailer in the drive no problem and were able to leave it hooked up as well as a ford raptor and probably had room for two or more trucks. We will defiantly be back this year!

Stayed here with friends for some fall dune fun. Great location to lighthouse, beach and parks. Silver Lake Sand Dune State Park is right around the corner. We had a blast at the Dunes! Host was very accommodating. Looking forward to doing it again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay, we had 10 in our group, it was enough room although the person on the futon had no privacy. Location was great, the kayaks and paddle boat were such a nice bonus that the kids really enjoyed. Owner was so accommodating to us and great communication. It was disappointing and surprising that we had to make our own beds. The pillows were absolutely terrible and made for not so great sleep, other than that, no complaints!

Jon is a wonderful host. He is very responsive, helpful, and kind. The property is central to the dunes, downtown activities and shops, has access to the lake, yet is still quiet and peaceful. The home is large with many amenities, all the kitchen appliances you might need, comfy beds and seating, fun outdoor space, too. It was nice to have the added bonus of kayaks and a paddle boat. We also enjoyed the access to the pool and playground near Craig’s Cruisers. That was a big hit for our kids! We really couldn’t have asked for anything more in our stay! Thank you, Jon!

My family and I booked this wonderful place because of the location to a family members wedding venue. This place was wonderful from the location to the fact it was dog friendly. Al’s o what made this place wonderful was the commutations with the owner, he was so helpful. Check in/ check out process was so easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place by the dunes or just for a weekend getaway!

Perfect for our large group while we were celebrating our wedding. Jon accommodates and communicated will with us well. The house was perfect for our group and a nice spot to get ready for our wedding. Definitely would recommend and would stay again!

We had a great time with our kids! It was close to everything. It was not easy to walk to anything with kids because there aren’t sidewalks and lots of traffic.

Rented this property last year too. Everything is less than a mile from all the fun things to do. House was perfect, like last time.

We loved the area. Walking distance to town and dunes. Property owner was great to work with. Few things I’ll mention. Exterior of property was in desperate need of cleaning. Pressure washing, etc. Kayaks were too dirty to use and lots of spiders in them. Picture shows fishing out back, but there are no fish there and water was only 12-18” deep. Little things on the inside in need of repair such as some drywall, towel racks, etc. just minor things. Some things need replacing. The dishes are usable, but it’s just an assortment thrown in there so nothing matches. These are just little details that I notice. Others wouldn’t care too much. For future renters I strongly suggest bringing your own towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. There were no hand towels here and towels and wash cloths are quite worn. This review may sound negative, but we did enjoy our stay and would love to visit the area again.

The property instructions and listing were accurate and clear. Communication with owners was great. The house is close to everything fun in Silver Lake, several things within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for our small kids and pets.

House was only seconds from the sand dunes and plenty of stuff to do around there! Owner was helpful and the house was perfect for our large family! There was extra air mattress for more space. Canoe and kayaks were perfect to take out on the lake right on the property! Fun for the whole family. Full kitchen and closet filled with bored games perfect for if you get rained in. Would definitely recommend

Booked this place because we wanted to spend the weekend at the dunes on our ATVs. This was minutes from the ORV area and easily accessible. The house was nice and just as listed. Jon, the owner, responded quickly every time.

The property was beautiful and comfortable. Jon was very prompt in responding with any questions we had. We had a great experience and would love to stay there again.

The house is in a great location, the host Jon was very easy to communicate with and answered all my questions before we booked. The house is very clean and well cared for. Everyone loved it and talked about revisiting in the summer months.

It was everything the listing said it was. My family just finished a Thanksgiving weekend there and it worked perfectly. We had 9 people including a toddler and it was very comfortable. The wife and I want to try again when the weather is warmer to enjoy what the Silver Lake area has to offer.
