Amazing sea views. Loved the house, but the views are the selling point. Saw whales and enjoyed looking for agates and exploring tide pools.

This was out 2nd time here and thoroughly enjoyed the house the gorgeous views deck and the quaint downtown the Oceanside coffee and breakfast is fabulous and ate at Rosanne’s and had a lovely meal then walked home! The jacuzzi at sunset is priceless and views from upper rooms are to die for. Definitely will be back if still available

We look forward to our stay every year. Ride pools and agate hunting in the mornings and sand castle building in the afternoons are staples.

Our stay at Oceanside exceeded every expectation. Beautiful large deck to watch the waves and sunset over the haystacks. Hot tub to finish the day. Excellent tidepooling at hidden beach. Great lunch at Roseanne’s. Well stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

This was our third year in a row staying at the Anemone House, and it never disappoints! Very well cared for and is exactly as advertised.

We had a family reunion and the seven of us thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous home and everything it has to offer. The house is very beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is very well equipped with everything you may need for either a short or a long stay, and it boasts stunning views from every window. During our stay the weather was pleasant and warm, so we were able to enjoy the beach and explore the tide pools. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen which was very well stocked with spices, condiments, cooking oils, and all the gadgets you may need. Soaking in a (working!) hot tub on the deck while watching the sunset was a real treat; check-in and check-out process was a breeze. I would also like to thank the owners for all the little touches, like coffee beans in the freezer, a welcome basket with a bottle of wine and other goodies. It really does make a difference!

The only difficulty was leaving! We had 3 adults and it was nice to have the option of a king downstairs bedroom. THe views from the upstairs bedrooms are spectacular! The living area views are stunning and the ocean sounds are relaxing. Such a short stroll to the sand. Found agates on Tunnel Beach to the north and also in the gravel on the beach right in front of the house. Very nice to have a little secure lawn for our sweet pups, who very much enjoyed the views from the deck, as well. Bring binoculars ... From the deck we saw a group of at least 3 Gray Whales on their way north between the rocks and shore (the neighbors to the north said this was quite rare, so we felt lucky), surfers (and a cute seal hanging out with them), Bald Eagles, Pelicans, Oyster Catchers, Canada Geese, Gulls, Guillemots and the Ravens and Crows displaying acrobatics ... just perfection. We enjoyed a nice meal at Roseanna's Cafe. The house was clean with comfortable furniture and a very well stocked kitchen! We will be back, for sure!!

Clean, well supplied & very comfortable for a large family

The house offered everything we were looking for. Had plenty of space for our family of 5 and our golden retriever. The views from the house were beautiful! Just a short walk to get to the beach access. We have stayed and several vacation rentals and we found this house to be better stocked than any other house we have rented. We really enjoyed the use of the hot tub. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Great Ocean View! A few good restaurants within walking distance. Great walking beach.

This home was bigger than the pictures looked and easily had ample space for our family of 5 in the common living areas. The quality of kitchenware and appliances, as well as the beds/mattresses exceeded our expectations. The outdoor deck is very spacious and the Adirondack chairs were perfect for sunset viewing. The hot tub was fantastic for my teenage sons. We got extremely lucky with 4 straight days of clear blue, sunny skies in mid March, with temps 65-70 degrees, but even with "normal" Oregon weather, or coastal trip to Oceanside would've been wonderful. Of note, plan meals carefully. There's only 1 restaurant in Oceanside for dinner and 1 good one in Netarts. Otherwise Tillamook is the next closest. We had no issues whatsoever, but I imagine with crowds a lot higher in summer season, eating out could be a challenge. I highly recommend to Capes driving tour. Hiking to the beach and to the end of Cape Lookout was phenomenal.

Great weekend with good friends at the coast. House was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our group of 4. Watching the storms roll in off the ocean as we cooked dinners was so perfect. Highly recommend.

The house was comfortable and cozy. The beds were great. The view is phenomenal. I will book it again.

Stunning, beautiful views, top of line amenities.

We have visiting this house for almost 20 years and recommend it to everyone. A walk on the beach is just minutes away and how wonderful to watch the sunsets every night on the spacious patio. The owners do a fantastic job keeping the property beautifully decorated and comfortable with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. There’s even a hot tub!. I love it here and would recommend to anyone.

The house is fully stocked and has a great layout for a larger group. The view is amazing!

This home is absolutely beautiful, the view is incredible and the house is the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed at. The layout of the house is perfect for families. This is hands down now our favorite vacation destination.

This property is in a great location with such amazing views! The house is fully stocked with everything you need and then some. There were minor issues, but Linda (the owner) was quick to respond and she went above and beyond to make things right. I’d definitely stay here agin.

Our group of 5 to 8 friends from the Portland area has rented beach properties for our long weekend retreats for well over 15 years and this is our favorite. If you need help or have questions, the owners respond!!! Thanks Virgil for talking us through the TV/cable set-up for our football game! Linda has always been a pleasure to deal with, especially during the Covid time. The Anemone House has it all.

We have been renting this property for years and hopefully will continue to rent it for years. It’s the perfect place to get away… hot tub on the deck, spa robes in the bedrooms, well equipped kitchen with spices, flours, coffee, condiments. The view is unparalleled.

This place is so great! Our group of friend has rented this house many times over the last 15 years, it is always clean and modern feeling, relaxing, amazing views, easy access to the beach, etc. It is very well stocked with all the little things you may forget and feels welcoming and homey. Thank you for another great getaway!

expectations. The view was spectacular. The decor interesting and the was updated and well maintained. We five friends each had our own bedroom with very comfortable beds and ocean color bedding. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The living room, deck and table had enough room for comfortable gathering. We appreciated the security of an enclosed garage. Good central location for restaurants and sightseeing. Public access to beach nearby. Communication with the host was excellent.

We are return renters at this Oceanside property and we are we return because we love this house. It is well equipped for a family group that includes three generations. We love the hot tub on the deck. We love the beach which is perfect for boogie boarding (in wetsuits) and Sandcastle building on the left, and on the right is the classic Oregon rock beach where our grandchildren spend hours agate hunting.

Wonderful property; the views are amazing and the location is great- easy walk down to the beach. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s a very comfortable and well-equipped house. This is the second time we’ve stayed here, would definitely come back.

The view that is. And frankly, the house too. But ridiculous in a good way. The house is beyond gorgeous and the hosts have left so many goodies for users - spices, coffee, condiments...etc. Literally you just need to show up and everything is provided - it was amazing! And the view...OMG. I could have just sat on that porch for hours and hours. Oh wait, I did! And I fell asleep every night to the sound of the ocean - it was glorious!

This is definitely the best beach house for a family gathering we have ever had and hope to be able to return again and again. Everything you could possibly need was available and the view is out of this world!
