Early check-in, it was extremelly convenient after night flight.

Coffee was awful, yet it should be mentioned that it was not good almost in every hotel we stayed in Malaysia.

The room was not clean when we arrived and it always took ages to get our room cleaned, or they have forgotten to empty the rubbish bin. Sometimes we had to call multiple times as nothing was done even by late afternoon. The breakfast was wast but of poor quality, and although I notified the hotel in advance that I need glutenfree breakfast, and they acknowledged it, there was nothing for me during my stay, they just shrugged and did not care or even try to solve the issue. The rooftop pool is very cold, so one cannot stay in long - there are also only 2 beds and a couple of chairs, and no sight of the Petronas. There only a few lifts and always a crowd, so one has to wait rather long to get anywhere, and travel like a hering in a box. Altogether, not an experience I wish to repeat.

The location is superb and it is great value for the area. The room was comfortable, good bedding, AC works well, awesome shower (hot, powerful) Very clean I did not have the breakfast, I heard it was a bit chaotic in there but they have an awesome coffee shop on the ground floor… really good coffee and pastries, unless you really want the big buffet breakfast I recommend using the coffee shop instead. The swimming pool is small but very clean, well managed, people are respectful of the rules, however if you are booking this hotel for the view of the towers from the pool.. don’t! Because there is construction of a 50 story building opposite the hotel happening and it is totally blocking the view. Besides this the pool is great.. I just think the hotel should update their advertising about this. We also had a great cocktail on the rooftop bar (again the view of the towers is unfortunately blocked), the waiters were excellent and the drinks were served well. Express Check Out is a great idea

As many other reviews have said, the reception service is painfully slow for checking in. This hotel is huge, and really busy.. but only two people on the desk during peak times, it just seemed very inefficient Additionally I sent a few messages via booking.com they were responded to 4 days after we had checked out! So it seems that the reception service is very understaffed.

Wi-Fi was not working and after complaining it still was not working after 8 hours As an overseas traveller really needed the Wi-Fi and only was was to stay at hotel foyer for any communication

The room service number was not mentioned in the information pack left in the room. The rooms were not ready for early check in even though we had requested it 3 months in advance and was willing to pay the extra amount.

Extremely disappointing on the services. Poorest among in my hotel stay for 4 star services. No room upon arrive by 3.00pm and no apology for the poor service provided. Yet room is like 2 to 3 stars level. Very disappointed.

We are not being treated customer. Yet no apology upon room available upon arrival Despite return back by 9.00pm and expected room should be ready but still not available. It is extremely really bad services we had. Regretful as this room fully paid are not refundable. I would never come back and would not recommend this hotel. Please do your improvement in your services.

Reception not friendly, she miscalculated the cost and couldn't explain what it was. She told me I follow in system. So terrible. But I was fixed by another receptionist, he was very helpful and charge the correct price.

I liked the location of Ibis city centre and the convenience of amenities at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and access to food and drinks at any time of day was an excellent bonus. The coffee at the cafe located in the lobby was excellent! The hotel even gave me a two hour extension to stay for free as my flight was departing in the evening and check out at the hotel was at 12 pm. I really appreciated that and will definitely be staying at the Ibis again.

The only thing I must say I didn't like was the inconsistency of the hot water in the shower. It would keep varying from really hot to cold constantly by itself without adjusting the mixer tap in the shower.

Cleanliness in restaurant is too bad

The room was quite small, but the bed was comfortable and there was a little fridge in the room. It offered an amazing view over the city. A wide variety of food was offered for breakfast.

The service provided by the staff was erratic. Some staff members were amazing, but others just did not seem to care and did not bother to come back to me on queries. No customer-focus at all. The hotel also does not offer any room service, which for most hotels is a very basic offering.
