The staff were phenomenal - Tony, in particular. Pleasant, professional and super helpful. Great location too, just outside of the tourist madness but a few minutes' walk from it if you want to dip your toe in. The air conditioned gym, while tiny, was very welcome!

This location is perfect. It’s right on the edge of all the madness so is much more relaxing and quiet, yet it’s still only a 5-10 minute walk to everything. However, you need not go that far as there are so many food and drink options nearby. Plus the hotel itself has great food and drinks. Staff were exceptional. We loved it and can’t wait to return!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit dort. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. In der Bar gab es sehr leckere hochwertige Cocktails. Besonders zu loben sind die Menschen, die im Hotel arbeiten. Alles waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die Unterkunft ist an sich gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Unser Zimmer war klein, aber sauber.

Der Pool ging für uns leider gar nicht. Er war so trüb, dass man kaum seine Füße sehen konnte. Unser Zimmer war in der 8. Etage. Das hatte den Nachteil, dass man vom Restaurant direkt darüber alles gehört hat - auch früh schon das Rücken der Stühle. Insgesamt war auch das ganze Hotel, auch das Zimmer irgendwie feucht. Wir würden wahrscheinlich nicht wiederkommen, trotz echt sehr netter Mitarbeiter. Der Preis stimmt aber nicht. Die Preise in der Skybar sind sowas von überhöht. Kein Wunder, dass dort nicht viel los war. Zum halben Preis würde man mehr trinken ;-)

Beautiful hotel with great facilities. The restaurant had great breakfasts and a large selection on their dinner menu. The pool was nice with views over Hanoi. The roof top bar was very nice indeed. The hotel staff were all super helpful and friendly. We stayed as a family of 4 and we all loved this hotel

My suite was amazing, beautiful room, nice smell in the room , very spacious, a very very comfortable bed, lovely sitting area, good bathroom size with separate bath and rain shower. Great balcony surrounded by bjg green trees. Complimentary drinks in the fridge, fruit platter in room on arrival and, very thoughtfull, already an extra access card in place in the suite on arrival so my suite was welcoming cool. As I needed an early checkout at 6 am a fruit and breakfast box was on mybrequest brought to my room, unfortunatly no coffee or a juice order was possible which would had been nice as my complimentary coffee bags in the room were not stocked up. The restaurant is wxcellent, great ambience, staff very friendly and knowledgable with wonderful presented, tasty food. If you stay in the hotel I reccommend eating there. I liked especially their set menu choice.

The pool was very small and only 4 dekchairs very close ligned up together in a very small space was a bit disappointing as well as excess through the gym, not as the pictures wants you to believe. Also no possibility to order something to drink. The breakfast buffet was good but would have expected that there would be a choice for coffee included, now as I wanted a coffee which was not tthere kept warm for hours already, I ordered a cappuccino for which I had to pay almost 4$. Maybe a fresh made coffee at guests choice would suit better the level of the hotel. I still give a score of 10 because my suite was the best one I stayed in during my weeks in Vietnam and the restaurant is wxcellent. Pool needs some attention in my opinion as well as the choice and quality of the coffee.

Modern, well decorated large rooms with comfortable beds. Fabulous staff. Great restaurant with variety of delicious Vietnamese dishes and super room service. Perfect pool for a quick plunge to cool off after a day exploring.

the rooms were spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. the reception staff were so attentive, kind, willing to assist. the staff in both the main dining areas including the sky bar were very engaging.

the hot breakfast were very tasteful and delicious but I think some more choices for the buffet (continental) area could be improved.

This property is very elegant and well maintained. The room was clean, quiet and good sized. We arrived late at night and had dinner at the hotel. The restaurant on the property was excellent. The breakfast buffet was lovely, one of the best during our ten days in Vietnam.

We mentioned as we checked out that the toilet ran all night but that we had been too tired to deal with it during our stay. They comped us back a portion of our rate for the inconvenience.

We loved our stay and would definitely return and recommend to our friends

The property was perfect for our stay in Hanoi . The location was fantastic, staff were wonderful and couldn’t be more helpful and the food and waitstaff at Essence restaurant were just sensational.

We loved the location, just a short walk from train street and although the area was quite busy the hotel was quiet. The staff were really helpful, the pool was nice and the restaurant and rooftop bar were really good .

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the Old Quarter of Hanoi . The staff in the hotel were exceptional. so friendly and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble . Reception staff were so efficient and check in and check out was so smooth . Tony from reception was great ! He organised tours for us and booked restaurants. He was incredibly informative and helpful! The staff in the restaurant were lovely at breakfast and dinner . Essence restaurant served excellent food , it was really delicious and very reasonable. The roof bar was great for early evening drinks and the bar staff were great ! definitely the best cocktails we had in Hanoi ! Overall a lovely friendly welcoming hotel ! Highly recommend staying here !

Our few days at the hotel we're fantastic. Everything was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. On multiple occasions, Christine reached out to us to make sure everything was okay with our stay and also helped us book a spa day. The location of the hotel was great for us, close enough to the sights but also quiet at night.

Absolutely beautiful! To start, we were greeted with drinks and the gentleman at the front desk gave us a great rundown on what to do around Hanoi. The breakfast, dinner, staff, location, spa, price, and service were all amazing! We went for our honeymoon and the staff had prepared this amazing presentation in our room with balloons that read "Happy honeymoon" and flowers. We had left to do the 2-night cruise around Ha Long Bay and when we got back they allowed us to keep our bags here and to use the amenities until our night train at 10pm! This place is amazing! Definitely recommend booking here

The staff were really lovely!

We booked this hotel because of the pool which was ice cold so we couldn’t use it. We also paid extra for a junior suite so we could have a balcony which was about the size of a chair and had no furniture on it like the photos showed (and none in the room you could use) so we couldn’t use that either. Should have just gone for a much cheaper hotel!

Super friendly and welcoming Staff, room and bathroom were clean and very well equipped (even if they are a bit small), comfy beds, great choice of food for breakfast, delicious dinner (big shoutout to Nat, our waitress during the meal, she was so lovely)

The only issue we had with the room was the noise from above: while booking we’ve asked for a room on a high floor and that’s what we’ve got but unfortunately it was under the restaurant area and it became quite noisy in the evening (around 10/11 pm) and also in the morning (from 6am) as we could hear that they were moving tables and chairs and people walking: not the best if you want to get some sleep in the morning. But overall we had a wonderful stay!

Location was great, lots of food options close by. Staff were extremely friendly.

Would be nice if pool was heated

We had a great time at Aira Boutique. We came for our honeymoon, and they organized everything so well. The team also organized for us a 3 days cruise on Ha Long bay which was exceptional. Special thanks to Tony at the reception.
