It was an ideal getaway that I needed. It was beautifully quiet and very comfortable. I really enjoyed it and would go again.

Superb hideaway very close to Henley. Fantastic host, couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Kept well supplied with wood for the burner which heated everywhere and made a very wet, cold few days so cosy. Thoroughly recommend Hidden Cottages and will definitely come back. Gorgeous!!

Location was fantastic, the host took the time to prepare a short booklet telling you about places to eat, local walks etc, plenty of local advertising to what is around the locale.

Lovely situation. Outdoor seating /dining area looking over lovely grounds and trees. Very helpful owner. Everything clean and in good condition. Lots of places to visit.
Would have been good if we could have walked to a pub. Also, a couple of outdoor chairs/recliners would have been good as the weather was fabulous and we sat outside all the time. Picnics table fine for meals though.

Location was great, lovely and quiet and just where we wanted to be. The cottage was cosy and nice and warm. Perfect for a short stay.
It would have benefitted from a few more items in the kitchen such as a potato peeler and little tiered steamer as only 2 rings on the hob - if you do self catering.
There is a smell of drains in the bathroom that needs dealing with.

Beautifully finished; comfortable; nice walking trails nearby; reasonably easy driving to National Trust sites and Stratford-upon-Avon. Overall a very nice place to stay, and we'd definitely stay again!
You need a car - the location is not walking distance to any amenities. It would have been nice to have pedestrian access rather than having to open the car gate every time we wanted to go out for a walk. The directions from the owner need updating, as the restaurant we were looking out for is gone! We would have appreciated a washing machine, but that is just us having a young child.

Location ideal for NEC and National Trust properties
It was lovely and clean, host was helpful. Breakfast items, tea and coffee etc provided which was a really nice touch but needed Milk to make use of them. Not an issue for us but could have been a problem if arrived without.

It was beautiful, spacious, clean and in a wonderful countryside setting. The host was extremely kind and considerate. Communication was excellent.

Property was clean and comfortable. Difficult to find on the first day but once we got the hang of it all fine. Lovely seeing the deer and rabbits, very rural. Very helpful on letting us use the washing machine in another accommodation. Also lent us a clothes airer, very helpful.
door handle on toilet would be better slightly further back kept catching our knuckles.
