We usually stay at hotels in Hawaii thought we’d try a Vrbo. We’re never going back. What a great place to stay. Right on the beach. Beautiful house with all the amenities including beach toys. The only slight negative was that it did get a little warm in the bedrooms at night but we managed. - but we went in august. It was unusually hot. And they are building a house next door and they started construction at 7am sharp and you could hear some clanging starting at 6:30 when they set up. But we were usually up by then and it’s wasn’t a big deal. Plus they were us usually done by noon. Despite these two minor annoyances we still give it an A+ and would definitely stay again. Staying in hanalei was such a nice change from the usual hotel mobs.

Fantastic time at an amazing place. The house is perfectly situated at the quiet end of the bay, and the house itself is very nice. We were 2 couples and had more than enough space. Beautiful pine trees (actually ironwoods) lined the property adding privacy. Suzanne was great- very responsive and very nice.

We stayed in this lovely home for a week with extended family, including children and teens. Everyone had a wonderful time and the house was so comfortable. We loved being able to walk out to the beach anytime. The kitchen and dining area fit our party of 8 comfortably, and the couch and chairs were comfy for watching movies. The bedrooms felt spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had a little challenge with mosquitoes at night but that was probably because the kids didn't always keep the screens closed. The property management team was really wonderful to work with. We hope to stay again someday!

This was the perfect vacation home for our family - right on the beach, sound of the waves, clean and well-appointed, and not far from town. There isn't any air conditioning, so I could imagine it getting hot in the summer months, but wasn't a problem for us in March.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely go again. Everything was exactly as depicted on VRBO, if not more so! The house and location were perfect for our family of 8 (6 adults and 2 children.) We all enjoyed the large, expansive lawn and the beach. There was something for everyone, swimming at the beach and nearby river, kayaking on Hanalei River, walks on the beach, hiking at Limahuli Gardens, Golf, a local Luau, a short walk to town for dinner and bonfires at the beach at night. The house had a gorgeous green lawn in front of it that then goes right into the beach. There is no road in front of it, so the view is unrestricted and a great place for kids to play! 30 second stroll and your toes are in the sand! The house itself was just lovely and extremely well-stocked with towels, dishes, pantry items, beach chairs, boogie boards….if you think of it, chances are this house has it! It also had a second story smaller lanai that served as the perfect “office” when my husband had to work. Can’t recommend this property enough! It was fabulous!

Property faces the beach which is great, there's parking right in front of house. The House is part of a large lot with 3 other houses behind this rental. Nice large grass lawn area seperating them and place for kids to run a round. Also, there is mature trees in front which is nice to have for shade in mid day sun. The house was nice and clean with wood accents. You can park your bikes right in front and no problems with crime. I would choose this rental again and are recomending this rental to some nice friends of ours. Thank you for havng this property available for rent.

Great experience with Hanalei at your door step. It was our son's 10th birthday and we enjoyed hiking the coast and boogie boarding on the bay. Enjoyed Hanalei and walking to get food and coffee in town. Will definitely come back!

This was second time we stayed at this oceanfront house and we loved it equally well the second time. More than enough room for a large family (or two). It is on beautiful beach perfect for family swimming in the summer. No AC but fans and outdoor shower made it unnecessary.

We loved getting ice cream at Pinks each night and hanging out it this chill town. We will be back for a longer stay next year. 5 stars plus. My adult kids and I spent a week at this wonderful house and it was heavenly! The style is "old school" Hanalei, which we love; not fancy but very comfortable, clean, well-equipped and easy. Everything you need is provided. The location is beyond amazing...being right on the ocean connected us to our environment in so many perfect ways. Listening to the waves all day and night, going to the beach without any need to plan for the day, since the ocean was just beyond our front yard. The hosts were very clear, responsive and nice. Nothing but a rave review from us!

We could not visit the rest of the Island over our 8 day stay because my son, daughter in law and the 3 kids were so happy running around outside and surfing, that nothing else seemed worth the effort! A vacation our whole family will remember.

Location, Location, Location. Right on the beach. Heaven on earth!

Upon arrival we found that we would not be able to stay in our rental because of flooding in the area. We lost one night rental and another day because the house was not cleaned and we could not get in the rental. If you rent in this area you definitely need to realize that flooding is a possibility. There was a massive storm that hit this area. We had planned to surf but were told by local surfers that the water was not safe from bacteria and possible sharks. We had a small child and was told that the beach was not safe from bacteria from the river run offs. There was a large hole in the yard that we were told would be fixed the next day and it wasn't fixed until the day before we checked out. There were teenagers partying with their trucks in front of the house on the beach. I don't know if that's always allowed. We didn't feel safe taking our beach chairs down and just sitting on the beach. We didn't take out insurance . We might have been mistaken but we didn't think it covered natural disasters. I would recommend reading the fine print and possibly getting something writen to clarify about natural disasters. We had excellent communication from the homeowner before we arrived but was not always able to reach her after we arrived. We had never rented from her before so all of the confusion from the storm may have been the problem. We are trying to work with VRBO to mediate at least one night rental return with the homeowner. The house should have been ready when the roads were open. I would suggest you take more money in case you get in this situation. Hotel rental for 6 people is expensive in Kaui.

This house just feet from the Hanalei beach was absolutely perfect for me and my family, 6 of us. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything one would need, the beds the most comfortable I've slept on and the location was just a 10 minute walk into the village. This end of the beach in Hanalei Bay was very quiet and peaceful and the waves were challenging for surfing but the water calm enough for young children. I'd definitely recommend this to friends and hope to return myself.

We stayed at ka Nani o wai oli for five days of fun in the sun. Once u arrive you realize your in for a comfortable stay with a wall of windows that puts the view in your living room. The loft and master bed just top it off. Your located in the center of hanalai bay i think the nicest part of the island. Very nice vacation home. I highly recommend it.

My family and I have loved our time at this house. Nestled between mountains, the gorgeous Hanalei Bay and lush green fields with lots of palm trees, the views from all windows of this house were simply breath-taking. The house was extremely well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The house is right on the Hanalei beach. We would definitely like to go back as soon as we can and stay longer this time.

We were planning our destination wedding and could not find a "venue" that suited our vision of a small wedding and reception. Our family and friends totaled 25 and all wanted to contribute to our "potluck". My husband and I found the home owners very gracious and accommodating on every aspect and went above and beyond for our special day. We will always treasure all the memories of this amazingly beautiful place and hope one day to return for a few anniversaries. Thank you!
