This property was perfect for our stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Kauai. Unfortunately, a large storm came through during our stay and much of the island was closed down due. These closures resulted in many of our planned outings being cancelled and meant we were at the house most of the trip. However, the house, with its pool, Hottub, ping-pong, and proximity to local areas gave us plenty to do. The host was very helpful while also communicating frequently with suggestions and other recommendations during our stay. I would rate the entire experience a 10 out of 10.

Perfect home for 7members of our family. We used the pool everyday and took advantage of the hot tub. There were 2 fridges, 2 ranges, 2 dishwashers, plenty of dishes and cookware. And there were 2 washers and dryers plus several pool towels. The master suite is amazing and the property manager (Evan) is a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home.

We had a great time staying here! The house was just as advertised and pictured, accommodating our group of 11 easily. Would definitely recommend!

We were only there four nights but the place was beautiful and spacious. Would definitely consider it if we visit Kauai again.

Came to Hibiscus House with friends, total of 3. Before our stay the owner Ning was in touch with me, with great information about the house. activities etc. Evan, the house manager, was there to greet us, show us around and make sure we knew where things were. It was a large home with a very open feeling. The neighborhood was quiet, with beautifully landscaped homes. This is not a "Party" home, but a fun, relaxing area. Quiet at night, Wonderful to walk neighborhood in morning or evening. Location was great,literally 5-7 mins and you are at great beaches, snorkeling, restaurants. We did not use all bedrooms, BUT bedrooms were large clean and comphy. Kitchen was well organized with everything you would need to make fabulous meals. We kept saying it would be a blast to have a family Thanksgiving, or larger get together.The kitchen was well set up for a large group. Pots and pans were in good condition. We did not use grills but they looked to be very clean and in great shape. We used the pool and hot tub everyday. Ning said turning off all the lights in the house a sitting out to watch the stars. It was clear and we happened to be there when meteor showers were going on stunning. There were beach chairs, snorkels, masks, fins and boogie boards. The one thing I would say is this home is NOT for disabled/elderly. There are stairs everywhere. This is not a complaint just a fact. If you go in Oct look for Slack key Festival. Hibiscus House was a great house, yes HOME.

This house was well stocked, the property owners are very helpful. There were 10 of us and we were not crowded. We enjoyed are time there!! I would recommend this property!

We just had the PERFECT stay at the Hawaiian Hibiscus Home in Kauai, Hawaii. The house was amazing! Ning and Evan (our Hosts) were amazing! They did everything possiable to make our stay the very best. We took our whole family with us for this incredible vacation. Our grandkids loved the pool and the adults loved the hot tub. The amenities in the house were even better than what we expected. We were so close to the beautiful beach of Poipu and this beautiful town. The neighborhood was so nice and quite. If you want a wonderful, relaxing Hawaiian experience...I totally recommend you stay here. I promise you won't be one bit disappointed. Kauai is truly our happy place and we will for sure be coming back.

Comfortable well stocked roomy vacation home. Deluxe but not so fancy that we worried about children at play. Lots of boogie boards, fins and beach gear. Great location.

This 5 bedroom house was ideal for the 9 of us and our 7 nights/8days went too quickly. We (grandparents) stayed in the master suite. One child, spouse and grandchild stayed in the 2 bedrooms on the other side of the house. Second child, spouse and 2 grandchildren stayed in the 2 bedrooms that opened to the Lanai downstairs. The spacious kitchen (equipped for meal preparation) and the living room were in the center of the main floor of the house. In the backyard was the pool and hot tub. All bathrooms were ideally located. The number of beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, sets of snorkel gear, etc. available to us was super!!! Also, loved the AC throughout the house.

Our family of 12 had an amazing week staying at the home in Poipu Kauai. The setting was perfect, located on a beautiful golf course with plenty of activities to keep us entertained during our stay. We also had the convenience of being close to all the great restaurants, beaches, and attractions that this area has to offer. The house itself was spacious enough for all of us and provided us with all the amenities we could have asked for. Having the pool and Jacuzzi after the beach was great. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this home if you're looking for a place to stay on Kauai.

Great location on the South side of the island. Easy access to the beaches, local restaurants and shopping. The house accommodated 11 people very easily.

The Hibiscus House is listed as sleeping 13. Be aware that there is a daily surcharge for all guests after the 6th person. The house is well supplied with almost everything. The pool, hot tub, and many beach accessories are especially nice. The neighborhood is very pleasant, though one must drive to the beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. The house is a bit dated and worn, but it accommodated our group well. At the end of our stay, there was a request to launder the beach towels and start the first loads of sheets and towels, which we thought should be covered by the cleaning fee.

My wife and our kids and spouses and a six year old (8 total) thoroughly enjoyed our Hibiscus House stay. Our host, Ning, was outstanding. We had arrival gifts and she brought us herbs for cooking and flowers for enjoying. The location was about a mile from a great beach in a quiet golf community. The swimming pool was great and very much used and enjoyed by our grandson. The adults liked the pool as well but mostly the hot tub. There were two dishwashers, two sinks, two ovens, two gas ranges, two grills and the kitchen had every appliance we needed. The house was well equipped and had boogie boards, snorkle gear, beach chairs, umbrellas. coolers-basically everything you could want to go to the beach. The house is large, clean and comfortable. We could not have had a better place to stay for our family. We did not want to leave.

The location of the house was great. The house was very used and dated. It has an odd layout but overall was ok. The house could use a deep clean, as well.

Hosts were very nice to deal with and were very accommodating. Loved the Koloa area, close to everything and tons to do. Would defiantly stay here again

the house was very well equipped to handle a large group like ours with several children. we had a wonderful time and enjoyed using many of the "toys" like boogie boards and snorkel gear that were available for guests.

We had our family of 13 stay here there was room for everyone and it was a great location very close to everything. easy to access I'm a fan of back up at my home n they seemed to be as well, they had 2 coffee makers 2 this 2 that! it was nice with a large crowd n lots kids ranging from age 7 to 7 days we all were up bright n early n needed coffee! we had plenty of room to work together in the kitchen , and they seemed to have everything we needed. lots of trips to store with this many but also 2 refrigerators plenty of room for food for a large group, nestled in a beautiful quiet peaceful neighborhood, it was kid friendly just at the top street you could catch the amazing sunsets every nite n in the back yard amazing sunrises. the owner is a truly beautiful caring human, ready to accommodate you at any time., very gracious . we loved our trip and made memories we will treasure forever!!

The Hibiscus house is so welcoming and well stocked. Our family of 9 had a wonderful stay -- our 5 year old granddaughter improved her swimming skills so much in the perfect size pool. This home exceeded all of our expectations. It was clean, comfortable for the 10 of us and incredibly well stocked for family meals and entertaining along with beach toys, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, etc. etc. The pool and hot tub were an wonderful asset and the house was well located for beaches for small children, boogie boarding for the guys and for site seeing tours.

We were a family group of ten people- six adults and four children (10-16). Hibiscus was a great choice for our family in terms of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, washer/dryers, necessities, entertainment, dining, and location. The swimming pool and hot tub were extensively used! The owners were incredibly supportive and responded quickly to any concerns. Ning went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Her property manager Evan quickly resolved minor maintenance issues. I highly recommend this property for family groups.

This was a beautiful home and had everything we needed.

Ning was very communicative and Evan was very helpful and responsive. The house was beautiful and Ning even left flowers and a bottle of wine for us. Very spacious and plenty of room for all 10 of us. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily and cooked several meals instead of going out all the time. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Was very easy to get ahold of property owner and check in was very easy. The house had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your vacation. Only thing I would suggest is the garbage and recycling be picked up more often, we were advised it would be every other day, not sure if that was the case as recycling was overflowing. However, Evan, property manager was very helpful in what to see, showed us how to clean the pool, etc. Would recommend for a large group (10-12) that want to enjoy a place together.

Loved this house! It was perfect for my family of 10. The owner and property manager were amazing to work with and very attentive. Conveniently located close to amazing beaches and shopping yet still set in a private and very nice quite neighborhood. Would do it again in a minute!!

Our stay at the Hawaiian Hibiscus home was a truly wonderful experience. It started with a friendly interaction with the owner when we booked the accommodation which continued through to the end of our vacation. All of our expectations were certainly met. As a family we have travelled to a number of locations internationally using VRBO and this experience was right at the top. It was perfect for our family of 10 which included our 4 granddaughter ages 11-15. The spacious and nicely decorated home gave us great time together and also private time when you wanted a break. It was clean and comfortable. So many great things to wow our family.. exceptional cookware and great supplies for cooking. Speedy internet service was impressive. The home offered doubles of all major appliances.. fridges, dishwashers, ovens, washing machines, clothes dryers, and barbecues. This was terrific for the size of our family. Evan and the owner responded instantly to anything we needed to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. It felt like it was our own home. The many little extras like laundry and dish soap and shampoo and garbage bags and paper towel and coffee was an added bonus and much appreciated. There were also special touches like chocolates and champagne and the owner dropping off a taste of local produce. The house was comfortable and the air conditioning system allowed for variations for each area as desired. The large number of bathrooms and showers and great warm water supply added to our comfort. The home had a nice large table inside offering the option for inside dining. The pool was not large but was perfect.. a nice temperature with clean water. We also enjoyed the hot tub pool. The deck had ample seating to relax, play a game or eat dinner. The location was very close to terrific beaches and restaurants and other amenities. Even if we wanted to do a shop at Costco or Walmart that wasn't an unreasonable drive. The neighborhood was beautiful and the area quiet. We enjoyed the private back yard and beautiful landscaping where you could just enjoy your morning coffee or fun family time in the pool. We did lots of our own cooking and the barbecues were in great condition and much appreciated. Thanks Ning for hosting our family. If we are able to come back to Kauai in the future we will definitely be in touch.

The kids loved the pool and looking for lizards in the yard. Hibiscus house is in a quiet neighborhood and is conveniently near lots of kid-friendly activities and beaches.

The house was centrally located, clean and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our family ( 10). We enjoyed the pool and hot tub - it was also close to beaches and restaurants. Check in was no problem and communication with the property manager was helpful

Great large golf course home, perfect for our "older" party of 10. Pool is small but nice and warm and did the job just fine. LOTS OF BEACH STUFF PROVIDED! We were all very comfortable and settled in immediately. Owner and property manager are attentive and informative, we were happy with local food recommendations, etc. Location is fantastic for beach access! We were never bothered by neighbors or busy roads, nice and quite. Large kitchen with duplicate appliances was great for cooking for a large party. This is not a newer home but it is well furnished and maintained...totally exceeded ALL of our needs
