Just enough space for 8 people, especially if you don't eat meals at the home. If you're desperate, the outdoor eating area is plenty good for 8 people.

We had two of the houses on property with a large group and it was the perfect set up. Location to King street and attractions was so convenient. Would totally recommend and book again!

This was a great girls trip and the home was in the heart of Charleston and so easy to get to all the restaurants, shops, beach and so much more. Highly recommend staying here!

This was as advertised! Photos absolutely matched the home. Walking distance to some great restaurants and coffee shops. We even met the owner and her darling daughter. We would definitely stay here again.

The location of the house was so convenient to amazing restaurants that we could walk to which made our stay feel like we were in a familiar place and could learn more about the city by the walkability to everything.

Clean, convenient & comfortable. My family & I stayed here while in town for my cousin’s wedding. Kitchen was well equipped. Parking is tight, but appreciated that it was available.

Property was pretty much as described. The primary issue was with communications once we arrived. They gave us a text number to use, but that didn’t seem to work. We were contacted from another text number which wasn’t provided to us beforehand. One of the upstairs showers was unusable as the drain was severely clogged. Additionally there were roaches in the kitchen island. Coffee maker tank was dirty/moldy/scaly, so we used the Kuerig instead. A lot of little details that could be easily addressed would make this a 5 star review.

We had a wonderful time at the property. The house was immaculate and the grounds were really beautiful. Great stay and would recommend highly!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was a very well put together unit and we loved the outdoor area for our kids which is hard in a city environment. Very clean and comfortable!

All was great except the bed are very loud and make noise when you move. Other then that awesome.

My friends and I picked this unit because of it's location as it is blocks from the Historic District. The check in process was a breeze and the place looked pretty much like it did on the website with very nice white decor. I also liked the fact that as 3 adult women we all had our separate bedroom and bathrooms. While there is parking (good thing for location), it was very tight for my large SUV. A few things the owners could improve upon is: (1) More secure front door locking as I could probably have broken that door in by myself; (2) Instructions for using the two TV remotes; (3) Ice trays in the refrigerator; (4) Shade for window at the top of the stairs. That said, our stay was great until the last night when the kitchen became infested with palmetto/roach bugs. The unit needs to be fumigated after each stay... This is the main reason I did not give them a 5 rating.

We rented this beautiful home for the week that my daughter was married and it was absolutely perfect! The main room is spacious and bright and the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and updated. Everything was sparkling clean. The home is centrally located and we could walk anywhere. It is set back from the street in a pretty courtyard which makes the location private and quiet. The owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We definitely hope to come back!

House was clean and in a good location to walk or short Uber to explore Charleston!

We came to Charleston for a girls weekend and this house was perfect. Living room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Check in was super easy and the management group communicated all weekend to make sure everything was going well. Location was great too. It’s an easy walk to King St with many great shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Charleston. Thank you for a great and much needed getaway weekend.

We loved our stay here! What a charming, clean and lovely home. Location was perfect! You are very close to other renters in the homes nearby so we were awakened every morning by our neighbors cackling, taking loudly and eating at the large outdoor table right next to our place. It was a group of 8 women eating and chatting away. Maybe a nice sign by the outdoor area mentioning the close neighbors would help?! We would stay again for sure. Thank you

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and had the most fabulous time. The house is in a great location and a wonderful layout. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time at 242 C! We were visiting Charleston for a mother/daughter weekend and had such a nice time! Most everything was in walking distance from the VRBO. The management company (Brian & Kerri) did a great job of answering any of our questions and making us feel right at home. We would most definitely recommend this VRBO and hope to go back for another visit to Charleston!

Excellent house in a nice neighborhood. The house was very clean and everything we wanted. Would stay again.

The property is beautiful and convenient, and it was perfect for out stay. we did have an issue with the A/C for half our stay, but I do understand they tried to correct over the weekend. Management was also understanding in giving us additional time when we did ot realize check out had moved up due to peak season hours. While the houses in the area are not overly crowded, the aprking can get EXTREMELY tight in the assigned spaces, so consider renting smaller vehicle if possible. Overall, great trip!

We rented this property for the week and were very pleased with the location (middle of everything), the accommodations, and the vibe. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and living space were comfortable. The minor downfall was parking - this unit is in the back right corner of the property and maneuvering a vehicle into the parking spot was tricky. We would stay onsite again but may choose a different unit.

Great place to stay! Exceptionally clean and 2 blocks from King street. Beautiful bathrooms with walk in showers and great water pressure! Would highly recommend this place.

Everything worked out perfectly! Very well kept property. Removed from all the craziness, but so conveniently close to anything you want to see. Beautiful space, well organized abundant amenities, fantastic communication from owners. The off street parking was huge. It made transporting the family so much easier. Multiple coffee shops within walking distance. So many good neighborhood restaurants. We'll definitely be coming back to Charleston soon. THANK YOU!
